Dean's POV

"Holy shit" I said once Kayla shut the door.

I started to pace as my breathing became irregular. Sam started to laugh. "This is not funny"

"It's a little funny"

"Sam, I just found out I have a freaking kid! I don't find the humor in this"

"Well it's not my fault you couldn't keep it in your pants"

I gave him a hard stare...but I kept my mouth shut. He was right, I guess. "Why do you think it's a bad idea?" I asked Cas.

"I just...have a bad feeling..." he said and then vanished.

I threw my arms up into the air. I was so flustered, I couldn't even get aggravated at Cas for disappearing again. I sighed deeply and held my head in my hands as I sat down on the bed. "Sammy...I have a kid...I cant have a kid. A fifteen year old daughter no less"

"But, you do, Dean...and she must feel like you don't want anything to do with her right now"

My eyes snapped up at him as he sat down in front of me on the other bed. "Why would she think that?"

"Well, because of the way you were acting when we were talking about her coming with us tomorrow...and how you barely walked three feet toward her..."

"Well, I'm sorry I was trying to let the fact that I have a daughter soak into my brain..." I paused as Sam just watched me as I stared down at my feet. "I wonder what she's like though...if she's like me...if she's like Lexi...if she just has her own personality..." I questioned.

"Well, we'll find out tomorrow...frankly, I'm excited to know I have a niece" he said and I just stared at him as he stood up to get ready for bed. I looked back down and then laid back, staring up at the ceiling.

She doesn't seem like a bad kid...but she's my kid so I guess I'll have to wait and find out...

My POV

The next morning...I felt someone was in the room...I reached under my pillow for my gun and spun to see it was just Cas. "Geez, what the hell's the matter with you? You like getting your freak on watching people sleep or something?" I cracked and then buried my head back into my pillow.

"Sam and Dean are anxious to have lunch with you this afternoon. You wouldn't have woken up on time if I didn't come and get you" he explained so I sat up.

"You don't like me, do you" I assumed.

"Me liking you has nothing to do with anything. It's your safety, along with Sam and Dean's that concerns me"

"Why? You don't even know me"

"I think...being around your father has impaired my judgment slightly..." I stood up to grab some clothes and head into the shower. "Are you going to tell them about your dreams you've been having?" he asked suddenly and my eyes snapped at him. He didn't move.

"No. I'm not. I don't even think I'm planning on staying longer than a day"

"I know you lied about your mothers death. Are you going to at least tell them that much?" he said as I continued to head toward the bathroom.

"No. It wont matter in the end result. They don't need to know it if I'm not staying" I spun to face him but he was gone. I sighed and hit the shower.

When I was done, I brushed my teeth, did my hair so it was a little wavy. I threw on some jeans and an ACDC black T-shirt. I put my gun in the back of my pants and grabbed a light coat so it would be able to hide the part sticking out. I stuck my knife into the back of my boot and pulled my pant leg over it. I saw it was time to head out and meet the guys so I took a deep breath and walked out the door. I walked outside to the car, seeing the Impala was already gone, I got in and drove onto the road. I was concentrating on my breathing as I felt butterflies in my stomach and I arrived at the diner. I sat there for a few seconds but then I got out and headed inside.
