The Chosen Ones (a Megaman X fan-fic)

Chapter 1: The Beginning

"Excuse me! Pardon me! Coming through!" Neon shouted as she skated through big crowds. So many people and Reploids were out today, due to the exciting news! She finally got through the crowds to see her two friends Tilla and Violet waiting for her.

"Well, you're finally here." Violet remarked. Violet is a tall Reploid who wears green and yellow armor and a silver headset. The belt she wears has two pockets on the side that when taken off and combined, it turns into a spear. Her long black hair covers on of her eyes, and goes down to her mid-back. She's known for her calmness during sticky situations.

 "Sorry! I got caught up in traffic!" Neon explained. She is a Reploid who can be a bit of a slacker, but she's rather known for her kindness. She wears a flourescent pink and blue armor-like dress with bright yellow accents, flourescent pink boots with blue accents and cufflets. She has aburn-ish brown hair that goes a little past her back, and has a little piece of hair sticking up on her head.

"So! Did you hear about the news? Maverick crime in Central city has decreased to 40%! That's because of the help from this new company called Alpha Corporation, who is against Mavericks." Tilla exclaimed. She is a rather small Reploid, who is pretty smart. Her armor is light purple and magenta, and has two wings on her back that enable her to fly. She also wears a grey headpiece with light purple accents, which helps hold her honey blonde hair back.

"Yes, I heard about the news. That's why everyone is outside today, and I couldn't get through!" Neon said. "Hold on a nanosecond. Isn't Alpha Corporation considered competition against the Maverick Hunters? Because if they are, a special-someone is gonna get affected, which will affect you." Violet said as she points her finger towards Neon.

Neon started to blush. "Oh no! You're right!" For those of you who don't know, Neon has heard many stories about the Maverick Hunters, which from where Neon lives, is about 5 miles away in Central City. She's especially heard stories about a special Maverick Hunter, who goes by the name Zero.

A little thing you should know about Neon is that her creator passed away when she was very new to the world, so she's oblivious to some things going on in the world. She knows about Mavericks and Maverick Hunters all from hearing stories. So, when she would hear stories about Zero, she was amazed at what he has done.

The three of them continued chatting with each other, when city officials approached them. "Is the one named Neon here?" one of them asked. "Yes, I'm Neon." she answered. "Well, we have been told to come take you to Alpha Corporation."

Neon froze. "Wait, why do I have to come with you guys?" She asked. "That's classified." another official answered. Neon couldn't believe what she was hearing. She is going to Alpha Corporation in Central City! "Have fun!" Tilla exclaimed, as the officials start to take her away. "I have a bad feeling about this." Violet said, concerned.
