Months flew by, and Aadrika and Devyaan’s relationship continued to flourish. While there were the occasional bickering and arguments, often rooted in their concern for each other, these were always outweighed by their love and understanding. They had found a rhythm, balancing their aspirations and their affection.

Devyaan had recently completed his LLB degree, with the convocation taking place just yesterday. Today, he had something special planned. On this occasion, he wanted to take Aadrika out for a date,a proper one. This time, it would be different. No hiding, no secrecy. But before anything, he made sure to seek permission from both their families, as he wanted the day to hold a special kind of significance.

Aadrika was thrilled. It had been ages since they had gone on a date, and the thought of it being open and free of secrecy made her happiness overflow. She wanted to look her best for the momentous occasion.

She chose a stunning maroon bodycon dress that hugged her curves elegantly, falling just above her ankles. The dress had a sweetheart neckline and delicate off-shoulder sleeves that added a touch of sophistication.

Her long hair cascaded in soft curls over her shoulders, framing her face perfectly. For makeup, she opted for a subtle, dewy look: a hint of golden shimmer on her eyelids, winged eyeliner, and a bold wine-red lipstick that complemented her dress beautifully with a simple silver bracelet adding a touch of charm.

Slipping into her nude stiletto heels, Aadrika took a final look in the mirror and smiled. With her clutch in hand and a heart brimming with excitement, she departed, eager to meet Devyaan for their long-awaited date.

On the other hand, Devyaan was a bundle of nerves. It wasn’t like him to feel this way, but when it came to Aadrika, he couldn’t help but overthink every little detail.

His usual calm demeanor was replaced with frantic double-checking of his plans. In doing so, he barely had time to focus on himself. Yet, he had to ensure that everything was perfect.Just the way Aadrika deserved.

After pestering Parna for details about Aadrika’s outfit color, he finally settled on a maroon polo shirt that matched hers. He paired it with a classic black blazer, dark jeans, and polished brown loafers, exuding effortless charm.

His hair was neatly styled, just enough to maintain his casual look. A light spritz of his signature woody cologne completed his ensemble.

Today, he decided to bring his Royal Enfield Hunter, a bike he knew Aadrika adored but never mentioned outright. He had noticed her subtle glances every time he brought it to take her somewhere and he couldn't help but cater to her unspoken preferences.

He wanted to leave no stone unturned in making this day special for her.

The sun was beginning its slow descent, painting the sky with hues of orange and gold. A gentle afternoon breeze added to the beauty of the moment. When Aadrika arrived, the sound of her heels clicking against the pavement caught his attention.
