It was a hot day in July. Davy, Micky, Peter and Mike were relaxing at their home, all bored out of their brains.

"Why is it so hot?" moaned Peter.

"Because it's summer!" replied Mike.

"I am so bored!" moaned Davy.

"Me too! But, it's too hot to do anything!" said Micky.

The phone suddenly started to ring and the four boys all looked towards it. No one moved from their seats.

"Alright," said Mike. "Who isn't too hot to go answer that?"

Peter and Micky pointed at Davy, who rolled his eyes, sighed and went to answer the phone.

"Hello? Oh, hey Rudy! What's up, Man?"

Mike, Peter and Micky sat up in their seats. If Rudy phoned, then it meant that there was possibly a job for them.

"A gig?" Davy cried, looking over at his friends with a big smile. "Yes! Yes, we'll be there! When? What time?"

Davy scribbled everything down on a piece of paper, said a few more things to Rudy, then hung up.

"We've got a job!" Davy cheered, waving the paper in the air!

"Where? When?" his friends cried!

Davy glanced at the paper.

"It's at a new bar called The Butterfly Inn, apparently the manager wants a fresh new band to play there for the first weekend, and Rudy put a good word in for us! We start on Friday night at 7pm!"

"Well, this day just got better!" Peter said, picking up his guitar.

"Friday is only a couple of days away! Let's get practising!" said Mike.

"I suggest I'm A Believer?" Micky said, getting behind his drum set.
