Mary's P.O.V
I was fuming. How dare she? She was meant to come round tonight, but anyway, I can't believe she'd betray me... She's such a... Such a-
"Why, hello class! Today we are learning about the beliefs of Satan and God. So what do you know so far?" Miss Peter, our R.E Teacher, said politely, she was always calm, and she looked like it too. She had mousy brown, but wavy hair, usually pulled back into a high ponytail. Her face was slim, and she had high cheekbones and arched eyebrows. Her eyes were a pale blue and her lips a pale pink. She normally wore simple skinny jeans, and a long sleeved jumper-top with a pair flat dolly shoes, depending on the colour of top. Today she didn't have to look respectful. She wore a little black skirt, not too short, which showed off her slim legs and hourglass figure, a Satan-cross top in black with a white cross but on the back it was white with a normal, black cross. Her shoes were white, with black lace, and the other, black with white.
"She looks almost as bad as Carmen." I thought to myself. I then realised that I had spoken out loud, and the entire class was staring. I felt my cheeks heat up.
"Care to venture your thoughts, Mary?" Miss Peter said, with a hint of malice.
"I was... Well, umm..." I stumbled over my words, conjuring up a lie.
"I know what she was saying." said the voice I never wanted to hear, as she sauntered into the classroom, textbooks in one arm, her other hand casually lolling to the side. The entire class looked shocked. She had spoken. I glanced up and saw her grinning face. I scowled. This would not end well...
Carmen's P.O.V
"She was saying how bad I look, BUT how bad another female here looks too. Who is it, Mary? Is it Jenna? Harriet? Chlöe? Bec-" She cut me off.
"Just shut up. I wasn't talking about any classmates." she snarled.
"Mary! We do not use rudeness against anyone in this class! Stay back after class, we need to have a word." Miss Peter said, and I turned back to Mary. I smirked,
"Have fun." I said and laid the textbooks down, and walked over to my desk next to Mary. I sat down amd took out my phone. I started texting Darren James, the hot 'emo' guy in school, he had deep blue hair which went slightly over one eye, one hoop piercing on the side of his lip, and tended to wear black, like skinny jeans, hoodies and Doc Martens. He had a crush on me and I loved the attention.
"You can't have your phone out in class, Carmen, we're supposed to be doing textbook work, reme-" Mary said a bit too loud, but got cut off by Miss Peter shooshing her, I grimaced. Miss Peter obviously heard I was on my phone but just glanced up at me and smirked. She was on my side?
