I walk alongside Mr. Kim, holding his hand due to being I'm too scared. He pushes the cart with one hand while looking at the products.

This supermarket is a little farther from the house and took us about 25 minutes to walk here. There are lots of people since it's the only one in this district.

"Do you want anything, Kook?" He asks as we come at the aisle where the different types of sweets are.

"No, thank you," I mumble, pouting.

"C'mon, get yourself something," he insists.

"No, Sir. I'm not in the mood."

"Then I'll get you something."

I watch as he puts four bars of chocolate on the cart. I feel content if I'm being honest. I love chocolate, but things that happened with me have really messed up with my mood. All I wish is for Jimin and Yoongi hyung to arrive here soon.

We come at the grocery aisle and look at the different types of veggies. At the same time, a thought crosses my mind: What if we run away right now? Jimin hyung said that Taehyung's parents couldn't run away for unknown reasons, but since we are here at the supermarket that is a but far away from the house, why don't we try to run away?

Taehyung went ahead of me while I stood on my spot, thinking about executing this plan. Will it work? I don't know, but I should give it a try.

A cold hand grabs my finger. I look down to see a young boy standing. His face is so pale like a ghost, while his eyes are of dark brown color. The way he stares at me is very unsettling. It makes me feel goosebumps. What more crazy is that his cold hand grabbing me very tightly, making my blood stop.

"A-are you l-lost, kid?" I ask with a trembling voice.

"You can't leave this place even if you want to." He deadpans. His voice is so rough that it doesn't belong to a kid like him. It's an adult's voice.

"W-what?"

"They won't let you." My eyes widen. Who are they? What is he talking about? A chill runs down my body as I suddenly feel a cold breeze passing. My eyes scan the place, fearing to see that woman again.

Sweat runs down my forehead. I'm again in a vulnerable position as I see no one around me. Where have all the people gone to? It feels like I'm the last person that is left on this earth. My heart's palpitation fastens as my brain stops comprehending my surroundings.

"—Kook," I hear faint sound, but I don't know where it is coming from. I'm frozen at my spot, terrified that if I move, something bad is going to happen.

"Jungkook." I gasped for air as I came out of the trans state I was in. All the noises come back as well as the people. Some of them pass by my side, giving me a weird look, but I don't care as I'm relieved that there are people around me.

I turn my head towards Mr. Kim as he stares at me, concerned. I wrap my arms around his waist, trying to feel a sense of security in him. He holds me back, burying his fingers in my hair as I hide my face in his neck.

"Sweetheart, what happened?" He caresses my head to let me feel at ease.

"I want to go home," I sniffle.

"Okay, okay, don't cry, baby. Let me pay for the everything, and we'll be off," he assures me.

He takes my hand, and we go to the counter. I keep my head low, hiding my scared face as he pays for the groceries and put them in the bag. Then, he grabs the bag in one hand while he interlocks the other hand with mine.

It takes half an hour to reach the house because the grocery bag is very heavy to Mr. Kim had to stop for some minutes. The entire time, he tries to comfort me, attempting to divert my attention to somewhere else, but I don't budge. I can't let go of the sight when I was all alone. It felt like I was the only one who remained on the face of earth.

Furthermore, that child. He was so terrifying. My memory keeps repeating his big, lifeless eyes.

Upon entering the house, the same putrid smell that we've been smelling for a while lingers in the air. Mr. Kim drops the bag near the door and waves his hand as the smell is too unbearable.

"What the hell? Where is this coming from?" He complains.

"I can't literally breathe," my voice is muffled due to covering my nose and mouth. I quickly go to open the windows to change the air. Mr. Kim does the same.

"I think it's coming from upstairs," he guesses. "I should check it."

I turn behind. "I'm coming with you too."

He nods. I come to him, and he holds my hand. Then we slowly make our way to the upstairs. I feel my heartbeat fastens even when Mr. Kim is with me. I hold his hand even tighter that I'm sure it is going to bruise, but he doesn't react.

We check our room, then the room I used to stay in, but there aren't anything that can cause the smell. The only option left it the room on the end of the corridor.

I gulp. We share a glace; he asks me if I'm willing to go there, to which I reply yes.

"You can stay here, Kook," He voices out his suggestion.

"No, I'm coming with you," I insist.

Without arguing any further, we approach the room. Mr. Kim twists the knob and pushes the door open.

I gag, putting both of my hands on my mouth, covering even my nose. The smell as well as the sight are pure horror. Mr. Kim and I cleaned this room, so how did the room become so disgusting like this?

The Pentagon sign is here, and what's more skin crawling is that in between the pentagon, there's a big bowl full of black liquid. And beside the bowls, there are bones and skulls of animals.

The door shuts closed by Mr. Kim. My eyes look at him. His face is shocked, as if he's petrified of something. I've never seen this face before. He's not someone who gets terrified this easily. A sheen of sweat drops from his forehead.

"Mr. Kim?" I reach out for him, horrified.

He immediately turns his head towards the way we've come, grasps my hand, and runs.

"We need to leave," he shouts.
