Raven sat in the backseat of the Batmobile, listening to Robin and his mentor's conversation. She stared down at her casted arm, using her right hand to hover over it.
She called towards her the blue healing power, but it still wouldn't work. She would have to heal the human way. She looked back up to the front seats, listening to her boyfriend's voice.
"I don't know how she got in there, our security systems never allow intruders. She obviously did something to change that. I didn't think Harley was that smart."
Bruce spoke, his voice low and dangerous. Raven knew why Robin feared this man. He had a dark, ominous aura about him. His past was tragic, that Raven knew, which could be a contributor to his darkness.
"She isn't. She must've had directions from someone. From Joker."
Raven leaned back against the seat, her head pounding. She had taken on many injuries, and since she couldn't alleviate the pain, all she could do was hope it would stop hurting.
She heard Robin shift in his seat, and realized he was looking to her.
"Rae, are you all right?"
She nodded, giving him a fake smile. He gave her a look, which told her he knew she was lying. Raven sighed, pointing to her temple and speaking softly.
"I have a headache. That's all."
Bruce looked in the mirror, his eyes seemingly analyzing her.
"It seems your powers and injuries are attacking you. Since you can't heal yourself, your powers are pushing your mind to the breaking point, trying to heal the pain."
Raven raised a brow, surprised she hadn't figured it out herself. She was about to speak but a thump on top of the car stopped her.
She looked up, listening again. Robin was eying the top of the car himself, while Bruce kept his eyes on the road.
Minutes passed, and Raven finally felt safe. Then came the crash of glass. She was pulled out of the car and thrown, along with her assailant. The two tumbled into the grass, Raven on her back, and her attacker on top.
"Harley!"
She yelled, pushing the psycho off of her. She stumbled backwards, pulling herself to her feet. Harley was back on her within seconds, her foot pushing into the Titan's chest.
Raven gasped for air, scratching at her boot as Harley slowly pushed down. Raven felt surge of power go through her straight to Harley.
The harlequin was thrown back by a black blast of energy. Raven got up, coughing up some blood. She ran into the woods, hiding behind a bush. She tapped her communicator, initiating the tracking device. That way Robin could find her.
She waited in the dark silence, calming her heart an breathing. After what seemed like an eternity, she heard a branch snap a few feet in front of her hiding spot.
Prepared for the criminal, Raven let black magic fizz around her hands. She was gaining strength once again. The bush began to rustle, causing Raven to move back.
When a gloved hand popped through, she panicked, blasting it. He took a look over the bush, seeing Robin on the ground.
She ran to him, pulling him to his feet. He rubbed at his wrist, mumbling under his breath.
"Oh Azar, Robin, I had no idea it was you. I freaked out and attacked."
She pulled him into a hug, gripping his cape. Robin wrapped his own arms around her small frame, enjoying the moment.
"Rae, we need to go. Bruce is waiting in the car. Harley-she disappeared."
Raven nodded, coughing once more. She hid the blood on her arm with her cloak, walking with him back to the car.
