I used to think God would save the innocent. I also used to not believe in sorrow. But apparently my life was a lie...
I hated school, as any normal teen did. I just had to get through it. My only escape was to place a cigarette between my used lips. That, is the only thing that can get me through the day. My dad didn't know, if he did, I'd never hear the end of it. Well, think of the smoking as a substitute for crying; I guess.
Everyone knew me at school. I wouldn't say that was good, or bad. It's just how it's always been. I don't really have friends, I don't need friends... I would be grateful for school. You know, to take me from my dreadful reality. Most people just didn't like their parents; me? My dad was the only one able enough for me to confide in, but dads are useless when when it comes to girl talk. I mean, I COULD talk to my little sister, well she's too young to understand that kind of thing; so that just leaves me.
As the last bell sounded, I shot up and excited the room, throwing on my hoodie in due course. I walk down the hall that is now swarming, and everyone is looking and whispering. I'm used to it yeah, but somethings different.
"Hey there, I'm Cole. I've just moved here and someone told me I should talk to you and tell you you're pretty."
"I'm flattered, but I'd rather you and this mystery guy stay away form me."
"But I'm only trying to be friends..."
"Don't make me get a restraining order, kid." I spat, sparking up a cig.
I turned to him and he looked shocked, his perfectly chiseled face was covered by blonde floppy hair, with green ireses shooting dagger at me. His broad shoulder, big enough to fit 3 of my heads either side, standing before me. I have to admit, he's kinda cute, but I couldn't.
"Bye." I mentally slap myself.
"Can I at least get your number?"
I can't believe I'm about to do this- "No find it out yourself." I blew a cloud of smoke and it created a mist over his face. He almost smiled, then frowned. I just huffed and walked away with mega sass, Leaving a gaping new guy, with cool floppy hair, looking at me and smoke passing the sun set. Just kidding, he was gaping though...A/N:
