00:12 am:
We sat at that hospital for hours on end. Waiting to see Rebecca but yet, we were unable to see her. Hours passed, nurses changed, people died.
The reflected light from the moon, shines off the sidewalks in front of my house. Reaching into my pocket I pull out my house key.
"Click."
Pushing open my door, I drop my jacket beside the door; not caring about where it lands. My house house feel so empty when I'm by myself. Even though I've never lived with someone, it stills feels as though I'm missing something.
Sighing, I pour myself a gin and tonic, making sure to add more gin then tonic. Causally I drink the entire drink in a single sip.
"Denver?" A voice shouts out. "Denver, it's Molly!"
Gripping the turquoise gin bottle, I stagger over to my open front door. A curly ginger stands in my door frame, dainty hand gripping a pile of mail addressed to me.
"They gave me your mail again." Bluntly she hands over my mail. "Nothing good, trust me if it was money I would've taken it for myself."
Molly Ringwood, is my long time neighbour. I've seen man after man leave her property never to return again. Rumour is Molly is an art major at NYC School of Art. She seems like the girl to go into nursing, and murder off all her patients so, she can get a long enough break to satisfy her nicotine addiction.
"You do know I'm a cop, right?" I ask slowly as I take my mail from her. Throwing the mail behind me on the floor, I continue what I am going to say. "That's federal theft. I'd have to arrest you and-"
"What would you do to me when I'm locked up?"
"Um....probably read your Miranda rights?"
"Would you punish me?"
Molly slowly creeps into my house, shutting my front door behind her. Before I can stop her, she's clinging on to me using her lips.
"Mhmm mm Hmmhm." Attempting to mutter, I shove you away. "What the hell are you doing Molly?!"
"I thought you were trying to be all sexy cop on me! If you didn't have a-"
Moving my hands slowly down, I cover the bulge in my pants. That feeling of embarrassment soaks my body.
Don't get me wrong, Molly is attractive. She's just not my type. Usually, dating gingers isn't my thing. Neither is dating girls in their early twenties with stick thin figures. Also I think her breasts are too big to be real.
