I thought about what Lauren meant by "People talk " then I asked "But why would Mr Bickerstaff hide the truth about his wife and the mother of his children"?. Lauren paused and looked like she was really thinking about her answer before saying "If people knew the truth nobody would ever trust their family again,which means he wouldnt be allowed to run for mayor again ". Thinking about what Lauren had said again it fianlly clicked "So the more people talked about what had happened the more him and his familys reputation was getting destroyed".lauren nodded her head to agree with me,I spoke again and asked " Was Mrs Bickerstaff involed with drugs or was that just a rumor"?Lauren asnwered quiet quickly "She was when she was younger but she settled down when she met Mr Bickerstaff and had the children".Beofre etheir of us could speak again Tracy entered the room and said" Sorry to inturupt you guys but Laurens room needs to be done but you both could countinue you're talk in the sitting room". We both got up and walked out of the room and into the sitting room when we walked in we sat on the seats facing each other at the back of the room and once we got confortable Lauren said"You see that woman over there by the window "?.I scanned the room only to see a 44 (maybe 39 ) year old woman who was reading "How to kill a Mocking bird". I looked over at Lauren Quizically and said "Yeah what about her ?" Lauren sighed as if it was staring me right in the face.Lauren finally answered with " That woman is called Emma King she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and OCD she was also close friends with Charity Bickerstaff and was the only one she would ever talk to ". I had a look of absoulte shock but agreed with Lauren none the less,then i asked "What about Damian?".Lauren looked down at her hands and then said "Thats another story for another day " I was about to object but Lauren beat me to it and said"Emma,could we please have a word with you ?".Emma looked up and came over and sat down on the sofa closet to Lauren said"Yes lauren how may I help?". Lauren looked up at me and said"This is Dale Evens,he is going to be the new son in-law of Derek Bickerstaff and he wants to know about Charity ". Emma answered without hesatation "Charity was such a kind ,lovely woman always a smile on her face never a dull moment if Charity was around ". I nodded encourging her to continue then she did "I never liked her husband,though their was just something not right about him i think even Charity had her suspicsions herself".
