Aubrey
"I've never sat first class, you know," I said to Joe and Nick as the attendant checked our tickets.
"There's a first time for everything, right?" Joe said to me with that stupid, yet adorable, toothy grin of his.
He can't know you think of him like that, Aubrey.
It just felt so familiar.
"Hey," Ronnie whispered to me as she tugged on my jacket. I turned my head around and looked at her as we walked down the hallway onto the plane. "Can I sit with Nick? Do you mind?" She looked at me with those sad puppy dog eyes and, ugh, how could I resist?
"Sure," I told her with a small smile on my face.
She squealed and went up to Nick to tell him they were sitting together. I heard Joe chuckle from behind me as we stepped foot onto the plane.
"What?" I said as the flight attendant led us to our seats.
"You first," Joe said as he let me sit window seat with a smirk on his face. "I have a feeling you like window seats."
I rolled my eyes and sat down in the enormous window seat and cozied up.
"Why were you laughing at me, Joseph?" I said as I looked at him adjusting into his seat.
"Joseph, eh? And, I was laughing because you're a sucker."
I blushed when he pointed out that I used his full name.
Why would I call him Joseph?
"Excuse me? I am not a sucker," I said, somewhat offensively.
He grinned at me. "Your sister could get away with murder around you," he responded to me.
I knew he was right.
"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome aboard," the pilot began.
"Ready for a 5 and a half hour flight next to me?" Joe whispered into my ear with that stupid smirk on his face.
I looked down at my watch. 11:31 PM. I looked at him.
"I don't know about you," I said as I covered myself with my complimentary blanket and cozied up into my complimentary pillow. "But I plan on sleeping on this red-eye flight."
Joe chuckled and rolled his eyes. "You're pretty lame, Jason."
I shrugged. "At least I won't be tired tomorrow, Jonas."

Joe
"Sir, would you or your friend like a drink or snack?" The flight attendant asked, tapping me awake. I looked down at my watch. 2:47.
I yawned and shook my head. "No, thank you," I replied and she nodded and walked away. I looked down and finally noticed it.
There she was, sleeping peacefully. On my shoulder.
I smiled like an idiot and carefully lifted her up so I could get rid of the cock-blocking armrest, then placed her back on my shoulder. She didn't even flinch. I wrapped my arm around her, closed my eyes, and drifted off into what was probably the best sleep I'd gotten in two years.
-----
"Joe, Aubrey," I felt a tap on my shoulder and I opened my eyes to see my brother waking me up from the seat behind me. "Hey, we're about 5 minutes from landing. Start getting ready to get off," he warned me and I nodded.
I looked down at my watch. 5:52.
Why the hell is it sunny outside?
Then it hit me.
Time difference, idiot.
I slipped my arm out from under Aubrey and carefully woke her. She looked so beautiful, even though she had just slept on a long-ass plane ride. I smiled at her.
"Hey, we're about to land, Aub."
She nodded at me and checked her watch. As I began changing the time on mine, I noticed her doing the same. She began packing up her iPod and all her stuff as I felt the plane start finally begin to land.
"Sleep well?" Sleepy Ronnie asked from behind us and Aubrey smiled and nodded at her little sister. I started to stretch and the girls started discussing how excited they were to spend the day in New York City. Nick and I exchanged smiles and promised to show them as much as we could today.
-----
"So, being famous has it's perks, huh?" Aubrey asked as we skipped the line and hopped onto the elevators at the Empire State Building.
Nick and I shrugged.
"It will sure come in handy when we try to show you everything in one day," I responded to the excited Aubrey.
"But, we're coming back after the wedding, aren't we?" Ronnie asked me and Nick.
"Yeah, but trust me, in a couple of days, you won't be able to move in Manhattan from the amount of people here," Nick responded.
"I don't know," Aubrey said with a light chuckle. "It's already pretty stuffy here," she said as she tried to wiggle around in the packed elevator. Nick and I laughed as the elevator stopped at the viewing deck of the building.
"If we're lucky, we can see five states from this building," Nick told a mesmerized Aubrey and Ronnie.
"It's so cool up here," Aubrey said as she began walking around.
"Be careful, Aub. You don't want to get lost," I murmured into her ear as I slid my hand across her back to lead her after Nick and Ronnie.
