Chapter three:
"Baby why are you so scared?"he laughed pushing me up against the wall.
I whimpered.
"Baby don't be scared"his lips touched my neck sucking lightly.
"Get off me!"I spat putting my hand on his chest trying to make a gap between us.
"Jeez"he laughed turning around,walking over to Loki.
His brown eyes twinkled as he picked up Loki petting her kindly.Its like as soon as he was in contact with her,he calmed down.
"Funny"I chucked growing strength and courage.It was almost out of no where,just happened.
"Yes?"he smiled looking up at me his eyes smiled and his teeth shined.He pursed his lips waiting for me to answer.
"It's funny how someone can go from being a horrible scary person,to being a lovely sweet guy"
His eyes went down in hollowness,"I'm sorry if I scare you.I don't mean to,I just don't want anyone to hurt you.Thats why I took you yesterday"
My cheeks turned crimson as I stared at the ceiling,"why do you want to protect me,I was safe yesterday?"
Now it was his turn to blush.Why?I don't know.Was it something I said or is he just sensitive....well obviously he's not sensitive!
"Uh...It's nothing"
"Don't lie to me Mr.Payne!"I smiled sitting down close but not in arms length of him.
His eyes fluttered up to me,"say that again..."
"Don't lie to me...."I said oddly.Did I pronounce it wrong.
"No...ugh--"he stuttered....what was he waiting for?,"this may sound rude,but what's your name"
I laughed shaking my head,"Violet Harris"
"Pretty name...."he whispered,"Violet Payne"
"What?"I coughed almost choking on my saliva,"did you just put my name with your last name"
He smirked looking up at me,his large hand graced over my thigh,"yeah,why do you like it?"
A wave of darkness lapped over his natural brown ones.
"N-no I don't think it's right....how long are you keeping me here?" I always get frightened when this happens,I noticed it yesterday to.
