My breathing is agitated when I arrive home. I've run twenty kilometers to try to calm my need of hitting somebody. I am angry, I am hysteric, I think that if I don't hit someone I won't feel uptight anymore. Why? I don't have a reason, I just want to break someone's nose, or mouth, or any other part of their bodies...
I can't avoid being that aggressive; but violence is the solution to all my problems. Maybe it can sound stupid, but it's the truth.
I look at the watch on my wrist; it's just 3 a.m., too early to bed, so I pick the keys of my car and go out. I drive over the empty streets until I arrive to my favorite restaurant, it's small but that's why I like it, there's no space for to many people. I park my car in the carpark and get out of it. The local is empty as I expected, there's just a young girl looking at her phone, who I supposed she was the waitress. I get in the restaurant and immediately the young girl looks at me.
"Welcome." She says while she saves her phone on the back pocket of her jeans.-
I sit on a place, and wait until she comes to attend me.
"Are... are you going to order something?" She looks nervous.
"Why do you think I'm here then" I roll my eyes "I'll have an hamburger with some beer"
"Who old are you?" she asked.
"Twenty four" I answer looking at her eyes.
"Can I see your ID card?"
"I forgot it at home"
"You will have to order something with no alcohol, then" she said. Why was she been that bitch?
"Give me some coke then" I growl.
The waitress disappears and I'm glad I'm alone. I take out my mobile phone and check my messages.
Zack: Mom and dad want to talk to you, when will you come? Let them know
I roll my eyes. How many will I have to tell them I won't come back home? I decide not to reply to the message and I turn it off.
The waitress is back with my hamburger and a can of coke.
"We're closing at 3:30" She warns me.
"Do you think I won't have time enough to eat a hamburger and drink a can of coke in half an hour" I mock
"It was just a warming" she explains.
She tries to be friendly, but I know that she wants to kill me right now. I smile and I dispatch her with a gesture. She walks to the cashier and I hear her snorting. I don't know why I found this funny.
I drink some coke and practically I spit it. I look at her and she is frowning.
"This coke is too hot" I complain "Give me a colder coke" I request.
"We don't have more cokes. I don't know if you have notices it's 3 in the morning, you are the last customer"
"So can't the last customer have a damn cold coke?"
"We don't have more cokes, honey" She says trying to be polite, but I can hear how her teeth screech. I bite my lips trying to not laugh. "Do you want another drink?" She asks with a smile.
"No." I say. "But you can retire this shit" I say with displeasure.
Her gaze never found my eyes. She comes to my table and retire the coke for drop it to the bin.
"Now I know why you never have drinks for the last customer" I try to look serious "Does your chief know what you do with drinks?"
"Can you just finish your food, pay me and go away? Please"
"Am I bothering you?" I frown.
"You are"
"Fine" I spit and start eating my hamburger.
Another young girl goes out from a gate and talks to the other.
"Faith, I'm going home; my turn has already finished" she gives her a key.
Faith, my new favorite waitress takes the key "Bye, Kayla"
The girl whose name is Kayla leaves the restaurant, I stare Faith.
"So your name is Faith..."
"Forget me" She says while she takes off her apron and later her tie.
She is good-looking
I finish my hamburger and leave ten dollars next to the cashier.
"See you soon, Faith" I turn to leave the restaurant, but her voice makes me stop
"It's just three dollars" She says.
"You can take the rest" I smile, but I don't turn to gaze her, I leave the restaurant and get in the car.
