A lovely trip to death

Today we were off to France. Mum and dad had our bags sent to the cars downstairs and we were all getting dressed for the flight. I wore a blue and white silk dress with white heels. I went downstairs to the living room to see that everyone was ready to go. We all headed down the elevator where two black cars were waiting to drive us to the airport. I took out my phone from my dark blue purse and decided to text Max goodbye. 

We reached the airport at noon. Our flight was in two hours, so I decided to look around at the shops. I bought like 3 boxes of chocolates from a duty free shop. I was going to be on that flight for several hours, might as well spend it with the love of my life, right? It was now 1:30 pm and the plane was boarding passengers. My family and I were called up first because were in business class. We walked through a long tunnel that lead up to the doors of the plane. We were right at the very front. Cameron and I sat at a window seat on the left and the twins and my parents sat in the middle row." If this plane crashes, and you're stuck, then I'm leaving you behind" joked Cam. " Uh, excuse me but I think I will be the one rescuing, seeming that you're the pussy of the family" I replied with a sneer. Cam placed his hand on his heart with a gasp. " I guess I've taught you well when it come to insults" Cam said. As if, when I said Cam was a pussy I meant it. Last September when we went to Florida, Cam nearly had a heart attack when he saw crocodile when we went a creek cruise. I nearly wet myself laughing. Good times....

Well it was now five minutes before 2:00 pm and the plane started to move. By two o'clock we were in the air, hovering above the clouds. I decided to watch a movie on one of the ipads attached to the seat. I picked the new Cinderella movie. By the time the movie was half way through the captain came up onto the loud speaker. " Good afternoon passengers, we will be enduring some turbulence throughout the flight, so keep your seat belts on while seated. 

The first few bumps weren't mention-able, but after 20 minutes of flying the plane was rocking very badly. I looked around at the other passengers behind me, and boy, did some of them look sick.  " You scared, Gray?" Cam said. " As if, Cam this is how I like my flight, nice and rocky" I said back. I looked over at Cam and he kind of looked worried. I swept my eyes over to Violet and Lily and they too look scared. Should I be scared?

That's when the first huge thud happened, the plane rocked to the right for a couple of seconds before coming upright again. I clutched the armrest for balance. Another even bigger thud came and the plane nearly spun out of balance. I held onto Cam and the arm rest for dear life. An ear splitting bang came from one of the engines. I was hyperventilating a bit now. I looked over to my parent s and sisters, what if this was the last time I would see them. I felt my stomach turn with fear. I was scared that we were going to crash... The speaker came on " All passengers, please remain calm. We are having a couple difficulties and are trying to fi- " the speaker was now cracking up, Oh my freaking God. I was gasping and screaming as the plane went tumbling downwards 30 meters. Cam grabbed my hand and looked into my eyes. He had absolute fear and shock in his eyes, as though he knew we would never make it. A single tear slid down my cheek. What if I never get to see any of my families faces again? I strained to look over to my parents and sisters, my mum had her arms around my sisters and dad was holding mums hand tightly. 

BANG.  My heart jumped as something exploded on my right. I could see fire and smoke through one of the windows on the other side of the plane. The plane was going into a quick descent. The speaker was back on again and the terrified voice of the captain spoke. " mayday, mayday!" I looked out the window and the clouds were now covering it. My breathing was getting heavier and quicker. Terrified screams and shouts were coming from the passengers behind. They knew we weren't going to make it. I looked out my window one last time to see land approaching very quickly. I thought of  a prayer. Please, Please God, save us, please. 

And that's when everything became cold and dark.
