Ning Cheng approached Huang Mao, his left hand supporting his trembling, injured right hand. Pain etched his face. "What about the police outside? Did they agree to your terms?"

Huang Mao laughed, relishing Ning Cheng's apparent anxiety. "What do you think?"

He wanted more. A humble plea from Ning Cheng would have been even more satisfying.

"You want to know?" Huang Mao smirked. "Officer Ning, beg me!"

Ning Cheng feigned anger, a controlled fury masking his calculated plan.

"Please," he said, "tell me!"

The other robbers erupted in laughter, anticipating Ning Cheng's humiliation. They envisioned the usually proud officer begging for information.

The hostages, heads bowed, averted their gaze, unable to watch Ning Cheng's forced submission. After all, this heroic officer had risked his life for them.

Ning Cheng abruptly raised his head, extending his injured right hand. "You crippled me!"

Huang Mao, gloating, pointed to Ning Cheng's mangled index finger. "Yes, and it'll hinder your shooting. Remember this, Officer Ning!"

His gaze remained fixated on the damaged finger, oblivious to Ning Cheng's other fingers.

Suddenly, a sharp snap echoed through the room.

Ning Cheng had snapped his left fingers, activating his 3-second unlimited hypnosis skill. He could easily subdue Huang Mao, but he didn't.

His injured hand had served as a distraction, drawing the attention of not only Huang Mao, but another robber nearby.

In that instant, Ning Cheng's right arm snaked around Huang Mao's neck, his left hand seizing the pistol. He swiftly aimed at the two robbers guarding the hostages.

Stunned, the robbers couldn't believe Ning Cheng's audacity, especially given his injured hand. They'd assumed he was harmless.

With chilling precision, Ning Cheng fired.

Bang! Bang!

Two shots rang out, followed by the sight of two robbers collapsing, dead. Ning Cheng's left-handed marksmanship was impeccable, a testament to his world-class skills – a hidden ace up his sleeve.

The hostages screamed, overwhelmed by the sudden violence.

A robber on the bank counter reacted, firing at Ning Cheng. His shots missed, even grazing Huang Mao, who served as an unintended shield. Ning Cheng, however, fired a single, fatal shot, hitting the robber in the head.

Bang!

Another robber fell. Three seconds had passed. Ning Cheng swiftly eliminated the remaining awakened robber.

Only Huang Mao remained, clutching his wounded shoulder. Ning Cheng, without hesitation, shot him.

With the robbers eliminated, the sound of police breaching the bank filled the air. Ning Cheng immediately secured the hostages.

"Everyone, stay calm! That's the police!" he shouted, calming their fears. "Stay here, by my side!"

Outside, Zhou Ziyan, Ye Wanzhou, and the armed police officers breathed a collective sigh of relief. Ning Cheng was alive, and he'd saved over 30 hostages, unharmed.
