"Sir, you can go to your home and get the necessaries for your omega while he is getting operated"
The nurse advised looking at Felix's disheveled state to which he nodded with a sniff.
The journey to their home was slow, unsure with blurred visions.
"I-Its o-okay"
Felix muttered to himself as he got inside the room to take Hyunjin's clothes and other things when his eyes landed on something breaking his composed life
"Hubby what are you doing?"
"Just.... trying to-"
"Knit?"
Hyunjin asked smiling as he saw Felix looking at various youtube channels and trying to knit
"For?'
"Our baby... I want to knit a sweater for him... He will be here during the winter time"
Felix smiled with red cheeks thinking about holding his son in his arms, putting this sweater on him.
"But there is still soo much time for it"
Hyunjin reasoned sitting beside him careful with the belly as he observed Felix's small fingers fiddling with the yarn
"I know... I just want it to get ready by then... And look I'm soo bad at this!!"
Felix whined at another wrong knot making Hyunjin laugh at Felix's actions.
"Is it that difficult?"
"Hmm"
"Then we can buy one-"
"Noo!!! I want to make something for our baby... It's my first time experiencing maternity with my Omega. I want it to be memorable and best!!"
Felix said in a determined voice detangling everything and starting from the first moving his needle and tying knots.
"Is the fabric soft?"
"Hm.... I asked the shop owner which one would be best and I bought that one. It's the most expensive one...but I feel it's worth it for our baby right wifey?"
Hyunjin stayed quiet as he looked at the two bags full of yarn and Felix's constant attempts.
Felix was soo in love with his unborn baby.
"Should I help?"
"Nah. You are taking care of him in your womb let me do everything outside... Knit clothes, buy cribs, buy toys, decorate his baby room.
Let Dada do something for his baby"
Felix said with a smile caressing the belly giving it a gentle kiss and then a soft kiss to Hyunjin before going back to his work
"You love him soo much...."
"I do. He is my family too... My little baby boy"
Felix's knees gave out as he fell on the ground holding his knitted sweater crying out loud with shattered dreams.
His heart breaking, his soul crying, his whole being his distorted with the choice he had made
"Sir your omega or the baby. Please hurry"
