Luke's Pov

I woke up, sitting in my bed. I felt really weird today, I felt cold and almost like dead inside. I've been feeling like this for a couple days now, which sucked. I looked at my arms and I seemed a little paler then I was before. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. I looked the same just paler.

"Luke can you hurry up?" My mom asked, through the door.

"Just a sec." I replied, splashing my face with water even though it won't help.

I went out of the bathroom and downstairs, to eat breakfast with my mom, dad and Peter my older brother. I sat at my spot, and started eating my eggs.

"So how's, Ashley?" Peter teased.

"Can you ever mind your business?" I asked back.

"I know that you and her-" He got cut off by me, closing his mouth.

"Don't, even start." I whispered.

I looked in front of my and my dad was whispering to my mom.

"What's wrong with your eyes?" Peter asked, looking at me weird.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"They were red, but they are back to normal now." He replied, looking a little bit scared.

"Stop messing around with me." I laughed a little, as my parents laughed with me.

"Almost time for school, and Peter I need to talk to you." My mom smiled as I headed to my room, to get ready.

I picked out black jeans and a Nirvana shirt and put it on. I fixed my hair a bit, and grabbed my book bag. I headed downstairs, to get my lunch and the kitchen was destroyed.

"Woah, what happened?" I asked.

"Nothing I-I just fell." My mom replied, as I got my lunch.

I headed to the bus stop, that was on the end of the street. As I approached it I noticed that my best friend Ken was here.

"Hey, guess what." He greeted.

"What?" I asked.

"Rumours of Ashley are going around, and not good ones." He replied, as the bus came.

"Like what?" I asked, as we sat in the back seat.

"That her and Chad, did it." He replied, as my stomach felt like it dropped. 

"Do you actually think she would do that?" I asked.

"I'm not sure." He replied, as we got to school.

I grabbed my bag, and quickly headed off the bus. I headed in the school and to my locker.

"Hey Luke." Ashley smiled, as I noticed she was wearing a blue floral short skirt and a black spaghetti-strap tank top that showed more then it should.

I looked in my locker and I had a grey hoodie.

"Are you cold? You look cold here put this on." I smiled putting the sweater on her.

"I'm not cold, here." She gave it back.

"Just take it." I said, not trying to sound rude.

"If you insist." She fake smiled and put it on.

I grabbed my English books and held her hand to class.

"Do you like this outfit?" She asked.

"A little showing........." I replied, as it went quiet. "But it's nice."

"Hey it's the cheater!" Someone pointed at Ashley. "And apparently a slut to."

"Shut up, we all know she didn't cheat." I said. "I hope." I whispered, as we sat down.

"Is it true?" I asked. "Be honest."

"No, I would never do that to you Lukey." She smiled, as the teacher started the lesson.

It was after English and I headed to gym class. I went up the stairs, and went and got changed and noticed Chad was here to.

"Chad, did you actually do it with her?" I asked.

"No, I would never do that bros before hoes." He turned to me. "I have a girl you have a girl, and let's hope they would never cheat."

"Okay I hope your not lying." I replied, heading outside where we had our gym class.

All we practically did was track and field and the cheerleaders did their thing.

"Hey Luke want to play football? You are the captain after all." Chad asked, handing me a ball.

"K let's start of with catch." I replied, as we headed to the inside of the track circle.

I threw the ball, a perfect throw. He threw it back a little sloppy but I can't really judge him by his throw. Suddenly in the corner of my eye, I noticed Elizabeth fell off their pyramid that was really tall. I started running to catch her, and I started running really really fast. I got there in no time and caught her in my arms. Everyone looked kind of surprised for a second but they all cheered, accept for Ashley.

"Thank you for saving me." Liz said, kissed  me on the cheek and getting out of my arms. 

"Your welcome." I replied, as she headed back to the cheerleaders.

"Dude! That was amazing!" Ken came up to me.

"Eh it was nothing." I replied.

"Uh oh." Ken looked over and it was Ashley looking mad at me.

"Why did she kiss you on the cheek?" She asked.

"Well, if I saved you, and we weren't dating I bet you would." I replied.

"Ugh whatever." She rolled her eyes, and went back to cheerleading.

"Well someone's over protective." Ken shook his head. "I would even kiss you on the cheek if you saved me."

We both laughed until, the teacher got mad at us.

It was after school and I was in my room.

"Hey kiddo, how was your day?" My mom asked.

"It was weird, there's rumours about Ashley and Chad going around and in gym I had like super speed and saved Elizabeth from falling and the red eye thing it was weird, and when I woke up I felt like weird inside and I am starting to get paler than usual." I explained. "Like how could those things happen?"

"I know how." She said looking down.

"How?" I asked.

"You dads side of the family are I know you're not gonna believe this but they are, vampires and you might be one to." She said, still looking down.

"W-Wait what?" I asked. "How is that possible?"

"I don't know, I was afraid you were going to be one since you were born." She replied.

"How am I only one now?" I asked.

"Your half human, which is very rare for a person like you." Mom replied.

"Is Peter one?" I asked.

"No, I'm afraid not." She said. "But there is one thing."

"What is it?" I asked.

"You have to move with your Uncle, Jack he lives where all the vampires are, you have to learn how to control your powers and your need for human blood." She replied.

"So, when do I have to leave?" I asked, feeling sad.

"Tomorrow night."
