The Truth in Different light Chapter 1

    Ok, so I am indecisive about this. It's my first story! So.... That should say a lot. I hope you understand.
    I also don't know if this is a one shot or not. It is to be decided...

  Natsu POV:
        When I get my hands on that stripper! Wait what would I do if I got my hands on him?  Fire and ice don't mix that's why we fight right.....maybe? Ugh! What am I so confused about when I get my hands in that stripper I'll melt him into a puddle, or I'll run my fingers through his hair and stare into his eyes.
   "What's wrong with me." I was lying on my bed pulling my hair as these thoughts crossed my mind. Why was I thinking about Gray like this? Gray was my frenemy I don't like him but I don't want him to die either. It went without being said about anyone in the guild. We fought but no one wanted to see the other one hurt. My team above all I don't want to see in pain. Even if that includes the ice freak.
     I rolled out of bed and decided to head over to the guild. In the back of my mind, I was kind of hoping to see Gray there even if I didn't want to admit it. When I got there it was usually people taking some fight here and there it was nice. I headed to the bar to get some food and a drink. Maybe I'd talk to Mirajane about this. When I reach the bar I didn't notice it because I was tranced in my thoughts so when I saw him I was startled. On the inside, of course, the only thing you could see was a cocked eyebrow.
"Sup Natsu," Gray said as he was cleaning a glass.
"Where's Mira?"
"Oh don't look so disappointed. She got a letter said she had to go and handed the bar over to me."
"I see."
"So what do you want?"
"Hmm...What oh uh my usual."
"Dude I'm not Mira what is it?"
"Fire pasta, chicken, and drink."
"I'll see what I can do." With that Gray walked off and I saw Lucy sitting at the bar reading.
"Sup Luce!"
"Oh hey Natsu." She didn't even look up from her book.
"What ya reading?" I was walking around to her back to read a little of the page.
"Nothing you'd be interested in."
"Doesn't look that way to me." She turned and hit me with her book. "Ow, what was that for!"
"Don't read over my shoulder!"
"Fine. Fine just don't assault me with that book again."
"Deal." After that, she went back to reading. The book was about some couple going on adventures together. It sounded kinda of cool at the part I read but that wasn't one of the adventure outdoors scenes.
"Here ya go." Gray handed me a plate of pasta, chicken, and a beer.
"That's not what I ordered Ice stripper."
"I don't know how to make it! Here's a match do it yourself."
"Whatever."
Gray turned to Lucy (who I was now sitting next to) "So Lucy planning any missions for rent soon."
"Yeah but just a few small solo ones."
"Cool how 'bout you Natsu?"
"I dphm mephy kumph." translation 'I don't really know'
"Do you want to go on one with me I might need some fire. If I didn't I wouldn't ask."
"(I swallowed) Sure why not!" Hold up why is my heart racing. Did Gray just ask for my help? Mine! What is this.
    Suddenly I couldn't wait for next week. For some unknown reason I was really happy it was just going to be me and him. Yet one question ran through my mind. Why not pick any other fire wizard? Why did you pick me?

So that my first chapter how was it? I really want to know. This was really fun to write and a totally awesome way to spend my time! Hope to get out another chapter soon.
