The Golden Wolf (On Hold)

Chapter 13

A/N I decided to do a chapter in Deans POV. I wanted to show his understanding of the prophecy, and why that is. Hope you enjoy! 😊

Deans POV

Jade and Dayton reappear in human form. I suspected that Jade might be a special wolf when she hadn't shifted yet. My theory is correct. Now, the prophesied wolves are here.

My mother told me of the prophecy, after all, the original Gold and Silver wolves were my great great grandparents. They died to protect werewolves from the now extinct species of vampires. They killed the only 12 vampires in the world. It was prophesied that the next Gold and silver wolves would protect werewolf kind from another danger.

"I told you I would tell you more, and I will keep my promise." I say quietly. They nod slightly for me to go on.

"You two are to save werewolf kind from some outside force trying to kill us all. The last gold and silver wolves killed all the vampires. Yes, there were gold and silver wolves before. My great grandparents, actually. The next wolves should have been born either this generation or the next, one of them descended from the original wolves. Jade, who were your parents?" Jade looks confused.

"I- I don't know. I was always told that they died in a car accident when I was 4, and that my younger brother died at the hospital, never any names. Except for Benny, my younger brother."

I growled slightly at the hurt look on her face. "Lies!" I hiss. "Haven't you ever wondered why I was so nice to you when I first met you? It was because I recognized you, recognized you as my younger sister, who left when she was 4." I growl at the stupidity of the Beta who took care of her. I was already pissed because of the way they treated her, so I supported her running away.

Dayton looks shocked. Jade simply asks, "Benny?"

"Mother died in childbirth, her second son she had decided to call Benjamin, died moments later." Jade looks so sad. Dayton wraps his arms around her waist and lifts her into his lap. Her comforts her while she cries over the mother and brother she never remembered.

"Mother knew you where special the night you were born, she said she was visited by the Moon Goddess. Her dying wish was for you to be sent away to grow up safely in a larger pack."  She sniffed a couple of times, before asking about our father.

"I'll take you." I promised.

I know it's been awhile. I have been really busy preparing for my fair, then showing in it. I will try to do another chapter by Sunday. On the 29th, I will go away for about two weeks. My cousins that I don't see very often are coming for a vacation on the beach, so I won't have any wifi to update. Thank you for being awesome readers!
