Hi,my name is Rick and I moved to Texas with my mom after my dad left us.Apparently he left us when I was 3. Ever since we got to the new town there have been rumours of people freezing all of a sudden and losing they're lives.I don't actually believe into that stuff but it's possible it could be real.Anyways I was thinking I would find this thing or man that was killing everyone.I walk up to my room and start unpacking.I was almost done unpacking everything when I heard a scream downstairs.I rush down to see our window broken I slowly turn my head and see mom frozen.I think in my head"What am I gonna do..What am I gonna do."I was actually starting to believe in the rumour.I dialed the police and waited for around 20 minutes and they arrived.They inspected the area and told me that my mom was dead and that she was frozen solid.At that moment I felt like bursting into tears. I didn't have anymore love ones.After the policemen left,I went to my room and just fell onto my bed.
The next day:
I woke up around 7 and went downstairs to cook some breakfast.It took around 30 minutes and I finished up my breakfast at 7:45."Good,just enough time to get to school." I rush to school and see a couple students walking to class. I look at a map of the school and get to my first subject,Math.I walked in the classroom with the other kids.Everything went okay and I met some new friends but half way through the lesson,an alarm went off and there was an announcement that the person who was able to freeze people was on campus. Everyone was evacuated out from the back door of the school.They all called they're parents to get them from the school except for me I just decided to run home.But on the way home someone grabbed me with force and pulled me into a warehouse.I screamed for help until he duct taped my mouth.The one who froze people with his powers entered the warehouse and says "Good job"to the one who kidnapped me.He comes up to me and says"You should know my identity before I send you to your death." He pulls off his mask and I easily recognize the face.I was awestruck,It was my dad.He says"Now the reason I left you back then was because I knew you would interfere with my goal of becoming the frost Lord.I muffled out"Why would you kill all those people?" He laughs and says"For fun".Then he attempts to freeze me but somehow a scar on my chest appeared and glowed blood red.It blasted him back and he hit the wall.He screams in pain and says"Your brother infused his life to protect you"I stood there confused and muffles out"I had a brother?"But before I could hear anything else I black out.
