1. I'll Go

Brin's POV

I let my head hang as I walked through the hallways of my high school.

The place I like to call

'A Living Hell'

That's pretty accurate if you ask me.

Ever since a fake rumor about me got out everyone hates me.

I used to be the happy popular girl who wore dresses and high heels.

And now, here I am with band tees and worn out vans.

The whispers and giggles silenced after the bell rang. The sounds of busy teenagers and footsteps filled the halls trying to get to class.

I walked into math and took a seat in the back where no one sat.

"Hello class" Mrs.Terrence smiled walking in with a new guy I've never seen before.

The mumbled of 'Hi' and 'Hello' filled the room.

"This is Ashton! I hope you guys respect him and are nice to him." She stated. She said something to Ashton and then looked at me.

"Raise your hand Brinley" She smiled and I raised my hand shyly.

The boy quietly walked over to me and sat down beside me.

"Hi" He smiled.

My eyes widened.

Was he talking to me?

No one ever talks to me.

Not even my family.

I wave at him trying to focus on my work.

"How's life?" He asked randomly.

I look up at him.

"Being the reject at this school is bad as fuck. I don't understand why your talking to me so you might as well not if you know what's good for you" I sigh.

He looks at me sadly.

"I don't know what's good for me" He shrugs.

I shake my head chuckling.

He followed me around all day.

Everyone gave him weird looks but he shrugged it off.

"Hey Cal" He smiled walking over to his friend.

Cal smiles back but quickly wiped the smile off if his face when he saw me.

"You can't talk to her Ashton" He said quickly.

Ash frowned. "Why Calum? She's cool"

"You can't Ashton. You just can't" He stated sternly.

"I'll go" I whispered walking off.

"You should have long ago" I heard Calum's voice say.

Tears rolled down my cheeks as I walked out of the school.

Everyone knew about my suicide attempt a few months back.

I can't believe he brought it up.

They want me gone anyway.

I'm only the reject.
