Chapter 4) Goodnight

I am super nervous to bring Maddie home to my dad based on what he said the other day. The text message when I asked him if a girl could come over he said 'get it'. Okay then dad. I think I like Maddie? I'm not even sure. I feel like it'd be rushing into things.

You know what her mom said. I can't be with her. Okay? Just enjoy the rest of today. Yeah, today..not a date.

"Maddie, this is my house, I'm sure my dad is sleeping, so you'll have to meet him tomorrow I suppose"
"That's fine Ben."

We walk into my not-so-fabulous house and Maddie's reaction is basically nothing. I walk her up to my room that has a bass, a bed, and everything else essential for a bedroom. You know what I mean. Dresser, television, etc.

"I'll sleep on the floor so you can sleep on the bed" I say.
"No, no, please I'll sleep on the floor" Maddie says.
"Nope" I say.
"Fine" Maddie says.
"Do you need a change of clothes for the morning?" I ask.
"It would be nice, but I'm sure I'll be fine"
"I'll get you a pair of sweatpants and a T-shirt just in case"

I'm not even tired. I want to play the bass, but I don't want to disturb her. Why do I want to play the bass? To impress her? Maybe.

"Ben, I'm not even tired" she says.
"So, you won't mind if I play my bass for awhile"

After playing my bass for about an hour, I decide that its time (A/N to begin isn't it?) to go to bed!

"Goodnight Maddie"
"Goodnight Ben"

He went to bed. I didn't. His bed smells so freaking good. Like please let this aroma be around me for the rest of my life. PLEASE! I can't sleep. My mind just keeps running across what happened today. Replaying a million times. Its a good thing though.

"Chickens." Ben whispers and then laughs.

Ahh! Hes awake.

"Ben can we do something other than just sit here? Board game? Something!!" I say in a jokingly annoyed way.

"Yeah, I suppose. Truth or dare?" Ben asks.

"Yeah sure anything!" I say as I reach for the lamp light.

Ben sits across from me on the bed.

(A/N: I hate putting authors notes in the middle, but this is going to be an EXTREMELY long part. Also, an important part. So please continue)

"Truth or dare?" Ben asks.
"Truth."
"Oh so you're gonna be like that? The one person that picks truth everytime!"
"No, I alternate. Now ask me a question and quit whining."
"Do you like me?"

Damn. What am I going to say? I'm actually not sure. I don't know how I'm supposed to feel.

"I don't know." I say.
"C'mon, yes or no?"
"Yes, a little bit" I say.
"Damn"
"Truth or dare Ben?"
"Dare"

Honestly, I suck at this game. I don't know what to dare him to do?

"I dare you to send a Snapchat of me and caption it 'cutest girl alive' to another girl"
"Duh, that's easy"

Ben proceeds to do it and shows me. We both laugh.

"Truth or dare?" Ben asks.
"Dare. Please don't make me do anything disgusting"
"Kiss me" Ben says.
"Oh no. Please don't be a fuckboy" I laugh.

Without thinking, I grab his face and passionately kiss him and then pull away laughing.

Ben just sits there and blinks his eyes fastly.
"Sorry, is there something wrong?"
"I just didn't expect you to actually kiss me" Ben says.
"Oh sorry." He says as we continue with this game.

I wake up laying in Ben's bed, with that smell stronger than before. I look down, and see Bens arm wrapped around me. What the hell happened? I remember kissing Ben. Certainly not lying down with him. I don't mind it though. I never realized that he was actually muscular. So, I just lay here. I know Ben and I didn't have sex so chill out. I'm fully dressed, so is he except he has no shirt on. I don't blame him. Its super hot in this bedroom. I hear Ben's phone make some beeping sound and I ignore it until I hear Ben wake up. I fake sleep just to see what he says.

He breathes out like he's just relaxed. I hear him grab his phone and he just laughs.

I look over and act like I just woke up.
"Good morning beautiful" Ben says.
"Ben, what happened last night?"
"Not much, you kissed me. That's the most exciting thing that happened."
"Oh, okay but how did I end up laying down with you? Not that I didn't enjoy it because damn, I did."
"We both just kinda fell asleep" Ben says.

I met Bens dad today. He seemed kinda rude to me at first, but he seems to like me now. So, I'm happy about that. I'm about to leave Ben's house right now. I honestly don't want to go to school tomorrow. Kill me.

"Goodbye Ben" I say.
"Goodbye Maddie" Ben says and then gives me a hug.

California! Why are you so hot?

Ben and I's status? I have no idea. Friends? Best friends?

I'm sweating so much. Ew. I'm still the same girl. The girl that thinks poor people are gross. I'm prissy. Im a brat. I wish I could change myself for Ben. If I wasn't like this then my mom wouldn't care. Romeo and Juliet.

She just left.

Damn. I had a really good time with her. Playing truth or dare, I made breakfast, and she met my dad. I ddo admit my dad wasn't too happy when he realized it was Maddie, but he was fine with her at the end. I never thought the moment I saw her I'd be lying down with her in my bed.

We have school tomorrow.

Dakota is going to blow up the whole Maddie and I situation across the school. Maddie is going to be completely devastated. Dakota is an asshole. I can see him doing this.

A/N - I think this chapter is shorter than most of the other chapters but oh well. The next few chapter will probably be the most interesting. This story will probably be a lot shorter than my other story. But this story is going to connect onto Love is a Polaroid/its time. So read those!!
