Bullshit Wedding

"I now pronounce you two as husband and wife.Zac you may kiss your bride."

Lily's POV
We were finally married after two years of being together.Wow I can't wait to spend my whole life with Zac.

Zac and I spent the rest of the ceremony together.We had lot of fun.

At night,all the guests had already gone and the house was a complete mess.So I went to take a bath and Zac was talking on the phone.

Once I got out of the bathroom,I saw Zac sitting on the bed.He looked sad.Wait he was crying.

"Hey babe are you fine" I asked and rubbed his back.

"I need to tell you something can you sit down please?" He asked.

At this time,I started to have a very bad feeling.

I just nobbed and sat next to him.

"I am so sorry Lily I've made a big mistake."he cried.
Now I'm confused.What's wrong with him?

Zac's POV
" what do you mean? "Lily asked.She was confused.
I should have told her before the wedding.
I then stood up and snapped at her.
"We cannot be together Lily,I've never loved you.This wedding would just be a disaster for both of us."

For some minutes,she remained quiet. Tears were running down her cheeks.

"Is this a joke because it is not funny at all?"she stood up and asked.She was now getting angry.

"I'm sorry it's not.I'm breaking up with you and I'll make sure you get the divorce papers." I said and made my way out of the room.

I know I should be there for her right now but I can't. I felt sorry for her.What can I do.It was the only way to gain the wealth of my family.

Two years of dating then wedding and the money was yours.

I climbing down the stairs,Lily came running and grabbed my hand.She was furious.

Lily's POV
"No you can't do this to me" I cried in front of Zac.He was standing sadly.
"Two years of dating didn't meant nothing for you,how could you just dump me two hours after marrying me?"I asked angrily.

"I am sor.."I cut him off.
" you know what I don't need your sorry keep it for yourself.Do you even realise that you've ruin two years of my life.I love you with all my heart and this is what you do to me.You are disgusting! "I shouted at him while crying.

I quickly ran upstairs and packed my bags.I put it in the car and returned inside.
Zac was sitting quietly.

I walked towards him and took his hand.
I placed the wedding ring along with a necklace that he gifted me.

I then stepped back heading to the door and looked at him.

"why did you do this to me?you ruin my whole life and broke all my dreams.What would I tell everyone?"I asked calmly trying not to cry.

Once at the door,he stopped me.

"where are you going Lily?" He asked as if he actually care.

I got in my car.

"Goodbye Zac,I wished I had never met you.have a good life." I replied coldly and drove back at home.

Knock..knock and Mom opened the door.She was shocked to see me at this time.

"Honey what are you doing here and where is Zac?" She asked.

I quickly hugged her tightly and cried.

"He left me Mom,it was all fake,he lied to me Mom"

She hugged me back and cried.

"I'm so sorry sweetheart."Dad came hugging me.

"it's going to be fine trust me"Mom said with a weak smile.

"I hope so." I replied sadly.
