Its Gonna Be Okay

Hey guys! I have read so many Pearl x Amethyst that I had to do one of my own. I am still a Lapis x Peridot fan but I wanted to give this a try! So here you go! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Amethyst P.O.V
It was a few months after Rose left us. We have a new mission now...and this mission will last forever. We have to take care if Steven. Greg already showed us how to wash, feed, burp, clean, and bathe Steven. But some of us still haven't gotten over the fact that Rose is gone. Pearl barely even comes out of her room and she never wants to see Steven, not even a little peek. She won't talk to anyone, look at anyone, or even go near anyone. She stays in her room all day, and all night. Sometimes I worry about her. Before Rose left us, Pearl was the one who always carried me and helped me. Rose taught me how to summon my weapon and be a Crystal Gem. It was nice when Rose was around until Greg showed up. When Greg showed up Rose barely had time to talk or even hang with us, I felt forgotten again, but Pearl was always there. She always comforted me and made me feel happy. I don't know why but, I feel a warm and soothing feeling whenever I'm around her or when she's around me, well their both the same but still. I can feel Pearl's pain on Rose being gone but...she always seemed jelly when Greg was around her. I need to make sure she's okay.
"Hey um...Garnet. I'm gonna make sure Pearl's okay..."
"Alright...don't take so long...it's your turn to change his diaper since Pearl won't."
"Fine! But if she comes out, she's doing it!" I then walk to the Temple door and stand there for a sec trying to find the words to start out with. When I finally found the words I opened Pearl's door. There were lots of water falls and I could here crying.
"Pearl?" I ask but no response. I walk up on a waterfall and it teleports me to a room with a bed. Pearl was laying on it on her side curled up. She was crying softly. It hurt me to see her cry. I almost shed a tear but I held it back.
"Pearl..."
"Amethyst?"
"Pearl...please come out...we miss you...I miss you..."
"Go away! I don't want to see Steven or anyone else."
"Look, I know what your going through...it's hard for all if us...but we have to move on and take care of Steven...he needs us and we need him. Please come out..."
"No you don't! It wouldn't have happened if Greg came along and changed everything! It's his fault!"
"Pearl! It's not his fault! Rose chose to do this! She wanted to do this! She knew this is what she needed to do! She did this for us!"
"How do you know she did this for us?"
"Cause I can see it...she knew that if she left...we could prove ourselves to her, and protect Steven. That's why she did this...she wanted us to be our own gem. We can prove to both her a and Steven that we can protect ourselves and him. He needs us..." Pearl looked at me glared. I didn't know what else to say, so I walked up to her and sat next to her.
"Amethyst...I'm sorry about this...my mind just couldn't wrap around the thought that she's gone forever. I need to get used to this." She looked at me in the eyes. I blushed and leaned in slightly.
"It's okay Pearl...I know how you feel...My mind couldn't wrap the thought that she's gone too...but we can get through this...together." She held my hand in hers and she blushed that ever-so-cute-blue. I smiled and stood up.
"C'mon. Let's go in the living room..." She had a scared face but nodded anyways. We both entered the living room hand-in-hand to see Ruby sleeping on the couch while Steven slept in Sapphire lap. She looked up at us and smiled.
"Shh...Steven's sleeping." She put her hand on Steven's forehead. Pearl smiled at the image, I seen her shed a tear.
"Pearl?"
"It's okay Amethyst..."
"Okay..." She walked over to Sapphire and Ruby. She sat down and looked at Steven.
"Are you going to be alright?"
"Yeah...I'm gonna just fine." When Pearl said that she looked up at me. I blushed again and turned to get something to eat out of the refrigerator. All I found was a watermelon and baby food. Then Pearl comes up behind me and puts he hands on my shoulders and gives me a chill up my spine.
"Pearl, what are-"
"Shh...can I talk to you tonight?"
"Um....sure I guess..." Then she left. I just stood there looking at the watermelon now. Only thing I can eat so might as well! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hey guys! I hope you liked my first Pearl x Amethyst chapter. I will continue in this story. I have this story all planned out so I think I'm good. That's what I do before all my stories.
