"Baby. Gising na"
I heard her sweet voice.
"Gising na."
Then I turned to my right and saw her smiling face.
Aly: "Good morning, Baby Den!" She said.
"Well, hello to you too."
Then she hugged me tightly.
Aly: "Gising na, hon. I bought McDonalds for you oh."
Then she held up a paper bag from McDonalds.
"Yes, yes. I will. tayo ka kasi muna, hon. Hindi ako makaalis eh."
Then she stood up and put something in the drawer. Ano kaya yun?
Aly: "Hon... Anong oras ka uuwi mamaya?"
"Hmmm... Mga 7 pm siguro?"
Aly: "Is it OK if afterwards we go on a date?"
Hmmm.
"Yes. Of course, sweetie."
Aly: "Great! Semi-formal naman sinusuot mo under your coat right?"
"Yes..?"
Aly: "Sige... I'll pick you up by 7 ah?"

I sang as I felt the water from the shower pouring down on me. Bakit ito pa kasi yung kanta, Alyssa? Alam mo na ngang nakakaiyak ito eh. I thought to myself.
Then I went out of the shower. Grabe, it's been a month since Denden and I went out. Yung tipong kaming dalawa lang. And we're so romantic to each ther or something like that. Basta, matagal na kaming hindi pumunta sa date.

I checked the name of the caller. I squealed in excitement so I answered it quickly.
"Hi, Baby. Kakatapos ko lang maligo."
Denden: "Yes, I'm sorry, baby. About that.."
Ohh..
"Oh. Are you busy from work again?"
Denden: "I'm sorry, talaga hon. I'm needed again."
But I need you too. My mind shouted but I said,
"Oh. No worries, hon. So. Susunduin pa ba kita? Dito nalang tayo sa house mag-dinner together."
Denden: "Baka late na ko, Hon makauwi. Please don't wait for me. Hahatid ako ni LA. You know him, right?"
"Yes yes! I know him."
I just don't like him.
Denden: "Sige, hon. Tinawag na ko. See you when I get home. I love you."
"Bye. I love you too."

Buti nalang hindi ako nag-book ng reservation. At the back of my mind this won't happen naman. Bibili na lang ako ng pagkain sa labas.
Then I got into my usual clothes and went out and into my car.
