Chapter Eight

Katalina's POV:

I stood there in shock... having Klaus in front of me. He looked at me as if I was the most important thing in the world. 

"What do you want?" I asked.

"I came to see you of course." He said.

"Why?" I asked.

"Can't I see my mate without needed a reason?" He asked me. I looked at him in shock. It can't be.. Alice would have seen this. I used my physical attraction to see if it was true. When it didn't effect him I was even more shocked. 

"No." I said as I pushed him away.

"I know what Damon and Elijah did to you." I looked up at him in confusion.

"H-How.. the only person I told was... you have Katherine?" I asked.

"Your mate didn't tell you?" Klaus said.

"Tell me what?" I asked.

"He has Elijah daggered in his basement and Katerina is with me." I looked at him and scuffed.

"Trust me when I tell you, I am nothing like them. You and only you will matter to me." Klaus said to me. 

"You want my trust.. take me to Katherine. I want to make sure she's okay." I said to him. 

"Anything for you, love." Klaus said. He ended up taking me to Alaric's apartment. When he opened the door there sat Katherine on the couch. We walked in and Katherine looked at me.

"Katalina." She said.

"I thought you left me." I tell her.

"Never, your my favorite doppelganger remember." She said I couldn't help but smirk. I walked over and sat next to her. Before I could say anything my phone rang. It was Rosalie.

Katalina: Everything okay Rose?

Rosalie: No, Elijah is here and is demanding to see you. He won't leave until he does.

Katalina: How long has he been there?

Rosalie: Twenty minutes. Get rid of him.

She said with anger then hung up the phone. I sighed, I don't want to see him.. at all. 

"Duty calls. I need to get rid of him before Rosalie loses her mind." I say. I stood up and started to walk out but Klaus stopped me.

"Don't worry you'll see me again." I tell him. I could see the doubt in his eyes but then let me go. I smiled and then walked out. 

When I got home and walked in there stood Elijah. I walked passed him, I could tell he was following me. We walked into my room.

"I don't want you here." I tell him. 

"Katalina.." He starts to say.

"No, Elijah-" 

"I'm protecting Elena so that I can kill Klaus." He said as he interrupted me.

"I know Damon told me. But guess what Elijah.. you can't kill him." I said. He looked at me and started to put the pieces together.

"No.. its impossible." He said.

"Oh but it is. Alice said I had more than one mate. I have one mate who loves my twin and then there's you who's to focused on keeping Elena alive and safe. I don't trust either of you." I said.

"And you can trust him?" Elijah questioned. Did I? He did keep his word and take me to Katherine.

"Yes, yes I can." I said. 

~Later that night~

As I got dressed after taking a hot shower to destress my phone rang. It was Stefan.

Katalina: What?

Stefan: He took Jenna.. Klaus he has Jenna. Caroline and Tyler were the original vampire and werewolf but he was able to free them. But as a punishment for interfering he took Jenna.

Katalina: Then turn someone.. hello!

Stefan: I'm going to exchange myself for Jenna.

Katalina: Meet me at the Grill. I have a plan.

I hung up and quickly left. I wasn't going to let Klaus kill Jenna. I sped the whole way to the Grill where Stefan was waiting outside for me. I got out and he walked up to me.

"Are you stupid?" I asked him.

"Why would you give your self up. Just turn someone." I tell him.

"We need to be quick then." He said.

"Say less." I said as I walked into the Grill and picking out a random person. I lured them outside in the alley next to the Grill. Then I had Stefan do his thing and turn her into a vampire. 

"Where are they?" I asked. 

"Follow me." He said. He picked up the body and we both sped away to Klaus. 

When we reached him. I saw three women in a circle of fire. One of them being Jenna. I took the woman who will be the new vampire and sped to Klaus.

"Well, this is a lovely surprise." He says to me.

"Your new vampire." I said and just then they women shoots up gasping for air. 

"You, whatever your name is. Feed her your blood." I said to the human. 

"Its Greta." She said as she rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, I don't really care." I said. 

"Since you went through all this trouble, Greta." Klaus said. She walked over to the woman, grabbing a sharp rock cutting her wrist and feeding it to the new vampire. The fire around Jenna then disappeared.

"Come on." I said to Jenna slowly walked over to me. I threw the new vampire where Jenna stood and Greta then makes a ring of fire around her. I then looked at Elena.

"Your lucky Stefan called me.. he was going to take Jenna's place." I told her. She just looked at me saying nothing. I then looked at Klaus.

"I'll see you soon." I said to him as Jenna and I sped away to the old witches house. 

"Your a vampire?" Jenna asked me as we stood outside the witches house.

"Yes.. not by choice though." I tell her as we walked into the house. I saw Alaric pacing back and fourth. He then looked up and let out a sigh of relief. He went to walk over to her but I stopped him.

"She's a vampire.. so unless you want to become her meal I'd stay where you are." I tell him. 

"Jenna!" I hear Jeremy say.

"Don't! I don't want to hurt you Jeremy." Jenna said. He nods.

"Your going to need a daylight ring. I'll get Bonnie to make you one." Jeremy said. 

"I'll help her with self control." I said.

"Your a vampire?" Jeremy and Alaric said at the same time. 

"But you don't have any daylight jewelry on..." Jeremy said.

"I'm a different kind. Story for another time. Jenna will be safe with my family, I'll text you the address." I said. 

"Jeremy everything okay?" The voice of my biological father says. 

"Yeah.. Katalina saved Aunt Jenna." Jeremy said to John. He looked at me in surprise.

"How?" He asked. 

"I had Stefan turn someone. Gave the human to Klaus to sacrifice instead of Jenna." I say to John. 

"Thank you." John said. 

"Now, if you'll excuse us me and Jenna have somewhere else to be." I said. 

"Bonnie and I will be over tomorrow with a ring Aunt Jenna." Jeremy said. I could see the worry in Alaric's eyes.

"She'll be fine." I said and he nods.
