The lights were too bright for Hanna's comfort. She was used to parties, but, seriously? She was going to be blind by the end of the night.

This party was definitely sucking. Noel Kahn used to be famous for his parties, but his fame is slowly dying in a pit of fire. The lights are too bright, Hanna could barely hear the music, and she was sure that Noel invited just the right people so Hanna would become self-conscious, thinking people were looking at her boobs.

Her purse was about to slip from her arm. She quickly scooped it up and held it tight. Another thing about the people Noel invites; they're from the bad parts of Rosewood, so Hanna always fears that they'll steal her stuff.

Hanna sighed. This party's dead, she officially declared, and retreated to Noel's bathroom. Thankfully, it was empty. Hanna rushed to the sink and washed her face with the water. Why am I sweating? Noel must've had the heat up way too high. Hanna looked at herself in the mirror.

She still thought she was overweight. Ali had helped her, but in Hanna's opinion, hadn't helped her enough. Hanna sighed. At least I'm not like I was before... She had to keep a positive outlook.

Out of nowhere, the door opened. Mona walked in, with dark sunglasses on and a tight pink dress. "Oh, hey, Han!" She smiled.

"Hey, Mona," Hanna replied. Mona noticed the water on Hanna's cheek.

"Were you crying?" Mona asked her, ready to help her best friend.

Yes, I was. I'm too fat and I'll never lose this weight. "No," Hanna answered half-truthfully, "I was washing my face."

Mona stared into Hanna's eyes. "I know when you lie, Han. Your eyes get all weird."

Hanna covered her eyes with her hand. "I'm telling the truth." Which, technically, wasn't a lie. But she couldn't tell Mona about her situation. Especially Mona.

"Whatever, I need to take a crap." Mona took of her sunglasses. "Privacy, please?"

Hanna sighed and left the bathroom. She was hit by a blast of cold air. Cold? But... she was sweating before. How could it change from scorching hot to freezing cold in 10 minutes?

Hanna walked across the house. It wasn't a very big one. A one family house, two bathroom, two bedrooms. It didn't take long for Hanna to reach the front door. She reached for the doorknob when a hand clamped onto her arm. Hanna gasped, and turned to see who it was. A hand was suddenly put on her mouth. She tried to scream, but couldn't. She finally caught a glimpse of the person- or, what they were wearing. It was a figure in a pitch black hoodie. They opened the door, and threw her out there.

The person walked outside, closing the door behind them. Hanna was about to scream again, but a damp cloth was put in her mouth. She scrambled for something to hold on to. The person grabbed Hanna's feet, and pulled her into the trees behind the Kahn house. Hanna stared into the distance, and saw the figures of people in the windows of the house, dancing to the music that nobody could hear, and just watched as the trees covered her vision, and this person dragged her into the darkness.
