Chapter 13

As I finished to kill off the last person, I looked around and realized that no one was there anymore, at least it was pretty silent, way too silent..something was wrong..it couldn't be it right ? I'm not done killing them ! I saw them they were more than an hundred !

I collapsed on the ground as I began to pant loudly, was it finally over ? Could I finally rest now ? 

It looked like it. I saw a weird dark light but I didn't pay much attention to it as I was trying to focus on my breathing. 

My vision was slowly becoming blurry no matter how hard I tried to control myself and I felt myself hitting the hard floor under me. I could feel my headache getting stronger as I slowly passed out on the ground.

As I woke up, I realized that I wasn't in the campments anymore. In fact, I was in a bedroom, it didn't took me long to realize that I was back at the village.

"You're awake !" I heard a voice say, I looked around and notice that someone was sitting on a chair next to my bed, but I couldn't tell who it was yet.

My vision was slightly blurry and I could only see a silhouette for the moment. I tried to sit down but my arms wouldn't listen to me.

I guess I'll be laying down for a while.

"Rimuru..?" I asked, I wanted to know who the person that was sitting next to me, I wouldn't want to be with a total stranger after all.

"No, it's Shuna, Harley-san." Shuna ? Of course it would be her, why would it be Rimuru after all ? They're probably still busy. "Do not worry, Harley-san, Rimuru-san should be back in no time !" 

I just hope that they don't have any injuries...What am I thinking ? If they have any they'll probably be small, they'll be fine..I have to trust them !

I let out a long sigh as I then closed my eyes once more, I really wonder what happened to me...is it because I used too much energy ? Nonsense ! I barely used my magic.

Maybe poison ? That could be it, I did got hit multiple times with their sword and there's no way they didn't thought about putting poison on it to make me weaker. So poison it is ?

Smart, I may have underestimate them slightly. But that doesn't change the fact they were weak. Way too weak. Rimuru may be fighting the more powerful one right now for all I know.

"You should rest, Harley-san." Shuna told me, I couldn't open my eyes to try and look at her again, it was like they were too heavy for me. I just gave her a small smile (at least I think I did) and felt myself drifting off to sleep.

Rimuru P.O.V

"How is she ?" I asked Shuna, I heard that there was a chance that she may got poisoned and I was getting worried.

"She's fine, she just need some rest." Shuna explained to me. Thanks god she'll be okay. 

I felt myself sitting down on the floor as I let out a sigh of relief. We were, in fact, able to remove the poison from her body successfully. 

Shuna just looked at me with a small smile before helping me get up, she asked me if I wanted to see Harley, which of course I accepted without hesitation.

"She's sleeping right now, so don't make too much noise." Shuna explained to me, I nodded as I entered the room and sat down next to Harley.

She looked so peaceful while sleeping...it was practically as if she didn't just killed a bunch of people a few minutes ago. It was creepy but I couldn't deny the fact she was pretty right now.

<<I don't think that's the thought you should be having right now knowing that she could have died from her poison.>> I scolded myself. I took her hand in mine and smiled.

We had gotten revenge and were also able to resuscitate the deceased 'monsters'. And right now the village was peaceful again, we just needed to rebuild everything back.

"Rest well Harley." I said with a small smile as I kissed the top of her forehead. I wanted to lay down next to her but didn't wanted to bother her in her peaceful slumber, so I decided against it.

<<But wouldn't watching her sleep also be creepy ?>> I thought to myself. <<Probably yeah, so sleeping next to her it is ?>> I sighed as I just lay down next to her, placing the cover on top of us both as I approached her for her to lay down on my chest.
