Chapter 5

Is This Real?

               It has been amazing week, dating Carl, and theres been no signs of the other group. It officially has been the best week since everyone changed. We've been doing gun practice basically every other day. No one knows about me and Carl yet. Which isnt going to be for long.  

               Today was the day that me and Carl decided to tell them. We were both extremely nervous. They could either take it really bad or really good. First we tell my brother, because I know he wont care. Then we have to tell Rick. And then everyone else. 

 "Hey, beautiful." Carl greets me with a kiss on my forehead. I was sitting on my porch, waiting for him so we could tell everyone. "Ready to tell everyone?" 

"Yeah I guess, now or never." I reply. 

                We start walking into my house. "Daniel?" I call out. No reply. "Daniel!?" And still no reply. I ran quickly up the stairs only to find no one. Where is he? We went outside and started looking for him. 

                Two hours later and still no sign of him. Then a scream sounded through the air. His scream. Me and Carl ran to where they came from, Rick and Maggie trailing behind. Daniel was on his knees, hands tied behind his back and a gun to his head. 

"Thought you two could get away? Haha" the man holding Daniel hostage said. This is the man Daniel and I had escaped from. He is an awful person. We were in his group at some point. We left because he started doing bad things. Everyone had their guns aimed at each member of the 'other group'. 

"What do you want from us?" I finally say, half yelling. 

"Everyone is accepted, no one leaves. What dont you understand about that? We've come to bring you two back home." 

"No, this is our home now. " I say as I pull the trigger to my gun, hitting the guy holding my brother in the head. Now everyone is shooting at each other. About five guys came for us, and they are now all dead. 

"Explain what just happened, Ana." Glenn said. 

"Daniel and I were apart of their group. We were only there for about two weeks. We didnt like how they were so we found a way to leave. I guess they didnt like that" I answered. "Well while everyone is here, I guess we need to tell you guys something" I say as I look to Carl. 

"Let me guess!" said Maggie, "you two are dating." 

"Howd you know!" Carl says. 

"I just know" 

It was a success. Everyone liked us together. This is great.

Sorry this is just a pinch shorter than the rest Ive been posting. But a lot has been happening. And a mystery group? What have they been doing? (idek tbh) But idk if i will but i may post again later tonight (:
