I grab the pocket knife I conveniently keep in my little box, and spun around only to see Mark.
"WHAT THE HECK MARK!" I yell.
"Gotcha!" He laughed.
"You're lucky when I swung around I didn't slice your fricking throat open." I sassed him.
I handed him his Sparkling Ice.
"Awe, thanks."
"Yeah, let's head back to our "perfect" spot." I said.
"AND, avoid getting our fricking throats sliced open." He sassed me.
"Uhuh," I replied.
We walked back towards our towels and laid down. I had brought three towels, and Mark grabbed another one and covered me up. How could he be single? He was so perfect. He was sweet, funny, cute, had a big heart, and I was so confused at the fact he was single.

I grabbed one of my other towels, and covered him up. He closed his eyes for a second. I looked at him and I was blushing. If that's how he looked when he was sleeping, I'd be dead. I'd die of his cuteness.
He opened his eyes for a second to see if I was still next to him. I turned over on my other side. He wrapped his arm around me and hugged me like a teddy bear.
"My name is Ally, by the way." I said.
I loved the way he hugged me; gentle but not too gentle. He hugged me perfectly. I smiled and looked at kids who were playing in the water. Mark kinda dozed of for a little while. He had that cute little snore tho. I blushed.
He was asleep for about 15 minutes until I woke him up. He sat up, along with me, and hugged me. We then walked to my car with our towels and umbrella and sat in the back where I had a spot for dirty towels and the umbrella. We decided to go for a little drive. I then remembered about Maya, and then I asked him if it was ok if we stopped at my house.

He nodded and I drove to my house. He jumped out of the car along with me, and I unlocked the door. Immediately, Maya began barking. She clawed at the cage as I opened it and let her out. She walked up to Mark, who was sitting on the couch, and jumped in his lap.

"Ohhhhhhhhhh my gosh! She's so adorrrrrrrrableeeeee." Mark said. He started to pet her. I handed him a yellow tennis ball and he threw it across the floor. She immediately took off after it, and brought it back to Mark. He threw it again, farther this time. She still ran after it, got it, and brought it back. I sat on the couch a little ways away from Mark since Maya had hopped between us. It was late, like 6:30. I put Maya in her cage, drove back to the beach, and mark got in his car.
I invited him over, so he followed me to my house.
