The history of wolves

The Packs

Hundreds of years ago there was a family of Werewolves. They were the royalty of Werewolves. they ruled the land justly for both humans and werewolves. All lived in harmony but things were about to take a dark turn...

 The queen was with child and not just one, but four. when they were born the entire kingdom rejoiced. One boy and three beautiful girls. Now the king and queen had the respect of not just human and werewolves but also that of other mythical creatures, specifically the druids.  The druids came and imparted special gifts on each of the children. The oldest was given the ability so use magic like that of the druids, the next was giving the power to fully transform, the third was giving a gift of camouflage, the last was given the gift of the bitten. little did they druids know that they had made a grave mistake.

as the years passed the children grew into strong leaders. the eldest held the name of Esmeralda. She was a powerful leader and her magic was stronger then that of the druids. The second was giving the name of Winter, she ran wild with the wolves and like being alone. The third was Lily, it was a plain simple name for that of one who could pass herself off as anyone she chose to be. The last was given a strong name of Bard battler against peace. His gift was one of grace and beauty, his child would be born human, while werewolves did live in peace with humans, some still feared them. No matter how strong a werewolf was they could always lose control and kill hundreds before anyone would be able to stop them. The children grew and married and started packs of their own. Life was happy for them, but it wouldn't stay that way...

The king and queen passed away and Esmeralda inherited the thrown. She ruled justly and was loved by all, well almost all.  A group of rouge werewolves believed themselves to be better then the likes of humans. They wish to make the  humans their slaves. They saw themselves as gods! The pitiful humans should bow and worship them.  Esmeralda knew of the trouble they could cause, and sent her brother after them. Bard was a powerful warrior, he destroyed most of the rouges and their plans. The rouges saw Bard as a traitor to his kind. While Bard was chasing some rouges others crept into his home are murdered his wife and his three children. Only his wife was a werewolf, his children were human.  driving insane with rage and hate Bard killed all of the rouges, but his hate didn't stop their. No wolf should ever be alone, and Bard was no exception. His gift not only allowed for his offspring to be born human, but he alone possessed the unique ability to change a human into  werewolf. Using his gift he turned a village full of humans into werewolves.  The newly turned Werewolves were completely loyal to Bard and did his evil bidding. Seeking to start a kingdom of his own, Bard took his pack and disappeared into the wilderness the humans left sought justice for what Bard had done to them. they began hunting and killing werewolves, and burned the druids and the stake for granting Bard such a terrible power. The werewolves and druids fled, leaving nothing but a memory that would soon turn into a legends...

The sisters met up and discussed what should be done. Esmeralda took her pack and claimed the forest that they might live life as the wild. Winter and her pack took the high mountains so that they might live a life of solitude. Lily and her pack disguised themselves as human and lived in hiding. The druids went with Lily and helped keep the werewolves hidden.They all parted ways only contacting each other on special occasions. They all searched for Bard and his pack but no trace of them could be found, they all assumed that they had died off... 

As time passed werewolves were only remembered as legends. Humans thought them as nothing as e then a fairy-tail, well at least most did. Shortly after the Wolves fled the humans instituted an order of Rangers to protect them from the monsters of the night. Passed on from generation to generation these Rangers hunt and protect humanity from the things in the night....The once reigning race of Werewolves are scattered across the globe, hiding in fear of being hunted down and killed.  

But someone is about to change it all...
