Trudging through the mud while the rain splattered around me i looked at my surroundings , the same old park , the same old town , the same old me. Or that is what i would have said 3 weeks ago. You see i was homeless , no family nothing. Until i came across Skyblood Academy. For vampires , i wasnt bitten , my parents were vampires. I was accepted and soon fitted in , but to one girl im nothing. Sheila Moon. The schools head cheerleader (yeah vampires have cheerleaders) shes hated me since day one. "Hey lyssa" my best friend emma called out "hey" i replied , speeding up my pace as thunder crashed around me "lets go see seth and luke" "uh no they are complete morons" i groaned , seth and luke were the schools 'hard' vampires , or in other words 'purebloods' they are so stuck up. "Well, i am , chowz" she called out before wizzing off. Shes the fastest in our year but also the dumbest . We have ranks in this schoold in each year , im rank 5 which gives me permission to go in out of bounds rooms , other peoples rooms and cut class , emma is rank 15 that gives her permission for 5 mintutes more of break and sleeping. And of course seth and luke are rank 1 with sheila as rank 2 . Suddenly i felt and thirst and i knew what it meant , running down to the schools basement , cubicles were held and in each cubicle a human was held , i rushed into one , and locked the door , bit to be faced with golden eyes , i gasped "shh little vampire i wont hurt you just come with me"he said he held out his palm for me to take and we were off.
