Chapter 1

Lilly-Mae Bentley waved goodbye to her foster parents as she left for university, she would miss them but not as much as she missed her real parents. As she climbed into her dark green 1997 Mini Cooper a tear ran down her cheek she never thought this day would come, but now it had she was worried what would happen next...

3 hours later Lilly arrived in the car park of crossford university, as she tried to step out of the car her foot slipped and she fell to the floor and landed on her bum.
"Oh my god" Lilly heard a soft voice of a girl say behind her "Are you okay?" The girl asked while helping Lilly off the floor, "yeah thanks I'm good" Lilly replied after a short delay, she rubbed her bum softly trying to ease the pain away. "I'm Melanie" the girl said, "nice to meet you Melanie I'm Lilly" "nice to meet you" Melanie replied "have you just started here as well?" She asked "yeah" Lilly replied with a whisper "I don't suppose you know where it is we have to go to collect our schedule and out dorm key?" Lilly asked with hope in her voice. "Actually I do I was just on my way there how about i show you" Melanie replied "thanks mel" Lilly said happily "do you want to be mates?" she asked. "Sure" Melanie said "only if I get to call you lil though" "aha okay that's fine with me" Lilly giggled

hey guys I know this chapter was short but this is quite a new thing for me, a friend saw some stories I had been writing at home and she told me to write some of them up on here and see who else likes them apart from her. unfortunately I lost her to cancer a few months ago so I thought that I would do what she wanted me to do, I hope you like it.
