luke's p.o.v
i pulled my sleeves over my hands and looked out the rain-covered window. i wish i was one of those little rain drops. no one judges them or makes them feel bad. they only live for a minute and then splash and die. they dont have to worry about anything and it doesnt hurt when they splash. thats what they were meant to do. then the car stopped.
" luke?" my mom asked. I looked over at her. "are you okay?" she asked me. " im just great" i said sarcastically and got out of the car. what kind of question was that? im obviously never ok, mum. i opened the trunk and grabbed my backpack and a box. The stuff inside of these two objects, are all i own. as you can tell, its not that much.
i walked inside the big grey house. I looked around everywhere. it was too big. i hate big houses. there was a huge library, giant living room, a spiral staircase leading to upstairs. there were 5 rooms upstairs and about 3 bathrooms. the walls were freshly painted dark red and the carpets were recently vacuumed. i walked further into the house and turned a corner. there were stairs leading to a small room in the basement.
" ill take this one!" i yelled to my mum who was taking her boxes upstairs. " ok hon" i heard her yell as my i made my way down the stairs. i unpacked all my stuff and there was already furniture so i didnt need to set anything up. i walked to the door and locked it. i sat on the side of my bed facing the wall and took the vape out. i took a few puffs then put it away. i unlocked the door and laid down. it was so late and i could barely stay awake so i fell asleep.
