I took a swing of my Butterbeer, looking at the dance floor, rubbing my sore ankle. The dance was almost half over. I took my compact mirror out, carefully inspecting my face, not a single lash was out of place.

"Thank you, mother," I thought to myself, putting it away.

"You alright?"George asked, slipping next to me, his ruffled red hair a bit sweaty from dancing. "Tired?" I nodded. He looked down at my foot "alright?" I nodded again.

Deciding I wouldn't be much good company tonight, I stood up, "alrighty Georgie, I'm going to go back to the Common Room, I'm too tired anyways. Tell the guys?"

"Okay," he nodded, standing up. "Let me at least bring you back." He had already interlocked his arm with mine. I laughed lightly.

"What's this? Georgie ol'boy, trying to be a gentlemen?"

"Only for the fairest princess of the land."

"Who's the queen?"

"My mum. She'd be pissed if she found out I put someone before her." I shook my head, rolling my eyes.

"Always the mamma's boy."

"I have no choice." We talked the whole way, joking around until we stopped at the stairways up to the girls dormitories.

"Goodnight, George" He leaned down to me (the Weasley boys really were rather tall) and gave me a short kiss on my forehead. I felt a blush rise to my cheeks

"Goodnight, Miss Ivory." and exited the room, leaving me all alone. I gave a small sigh. Dammit Weasley. Dammit Ivory, a damn war is going to happen soon. Not time for a feeble crush on your friends.

Leaning on the wall, I noticed a light blue glow, coming from my back. Suddenly, there was nothing but air underneath my feet. I gave a small scream as I fell down into the darkness, only illuminated by a single torch.

Oh my gods, save me.

I have realized that this story is just skipping scene to scene.

Badly.
