Good news

Arthur's PoV
I ran down the castle halls as fast as I could. I couldn't wait till I told merlin the good news. I hope my father likes him.
I ran into the old mans chambers and as I expected merlin was on a bench by his table with the plate of food I told him to eat. Good he is eating can't have him skinny and starving to death.
'Merlin u won't believe what happened!' I said he just looked at me odd. Talking that as for me to carry on I said 'my father found out about us and he is ok with it we just can't go public and he would love to you at dinner tonight!!!' I was so excited
'Really!?!?' Merlin said is surprise and happiness. We shared a really long and loving hug before coming away and sharing a loving and gentle kiss. I know I have only met him like a day ago but 'I think I'm in love' oops did I say that bit out loud?!
'Awe I think I am too' phew I'm not alone in this. We shared one last caring kiss before we were interrupted by Merlins guardian with him saying
'Hang on a moment am I missing something here?' Clearly he was confused so we told him what happens. Side the details. I was so happy with Merlin and I really couldn't wait till dinner so I could show how much I love him and hopefully my father will too.
-I am so sorry it took this long to write it was just so hard to think of what to do next. I know this was a very short chapter but I hope u liked it still
-I am very unsure of what to do for the dinner like what is going to go down and what uther will think of Merlin and Arthur's relationship.
