The adrenaline that had once kept her upright was gone, leaving her feeling fragile, her body too exhausted to keep up. Louis tightened his arms around her, his voice soft as he continued to soothe her.

"It's okay, love. You're safe," Louis murmured, his thumb brushing across the back of her hand where it rested against him.

Y/N's eyes fluttered, her breath steadying, though she still couldn't fully shake the fear that had settled deep in her chest. She was shaken, but she wasn't broken. Not yet.

Louis held her close, rubbing her wrist gently, his heart still racing from the fear he'd felt watching her in the stalker's grip. "I'm not going to let anything happen to you," he whispered, his voice full of the promise that he would always protect her.

She nodded weakly against his chest, her body still trembling but her grip on him firming as she gathered strength.

Y/N's knees wobbled as she tried to stand, her body still trembling from the encounter. Every muscle in her felt weak, but she pushed herself up, leaning heavily on Louis for support. The chaotic energy of the scene was beginning to settle, but a new kind of commotion was building—fans were filing into the venue, their excited chatter echoing through the hallways. "You're okay, love. You're okay." Louis whispered in her ear/

Paul's voice cut through the noise, his tone firm but laced with concern. "Alright, listen up. The fans are starting to fill the venue, and the concert has to start on time. We can't afford to delay it any longer."

"What?" Louis snapped, his arm still wrapped protectively around Y/N. "You can't expect us to just go out there and sing after what just happened!" His voice cracked with emotion, his eyes darting back to Y/N, who was clutching her wrist and looking pale.

"We're not leaving her like this," Liam added, his tone sharp as he squared up to Paul. "She needs us right now."

Paul sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. "I get it, I do. But the fans can't wait. If we delay, it's going to raise questions, and the last thing we need is rumors spreading about what just happened. Lou and I will stay with Y/N. She'll be safe with us, I promise."

"She'll be safe with me, boys," Lou, their hairstylist and Y/N's closest confidant, chimed in. She stepped forward and gently rested a hand on Y/N's shoulder. "I'll make sure she's taken care of, alright? You've got a show to put on."

"But—" Zayn started, his voice filled with frustration, but Y/N cut him off softly.

"I'll be fine," she said, though her voice wavered. Her legs were still shaky, and the fear lingered in her wide eyes, but she forced herself to stand straighter, trying to appear stronger than she felt. "You guys have to go. The fans are waiting."

Louis turned to her, his jaw clenching. "Y/N, we're not just going to leave you like this."

She offered him a faint, reassuring smile, though it didn't quite reach her eyes. "Lou will be with me. And Paul. I'll stay backstage and watch you guys. I promise I'll manage."

Despite her words, the boys exchanged uneasy glances. It was clear they weren't convinced, but they were running out of time. The fans' cheers were growing louder, and the clock was ticking down to showtime.
