The next morning, Jimin woke up early, stretching his arms before getting out of bed. After freshening up, he headed to the small kitchen in his cottage and prepared a simple breakfast for himself.
As he ate, his mind was already planning the day—he had classes to attend, but before that, he needed to check on Grandma and give her medicines.
Once he was done, he quickly got ready in his usual casual but neat outfit, grabbed his bag, and stepped out. The morning air was fresh as he made his way towards the main mansion.
Upon entering, he found Grandma sitting on the couch in the living room, sipping her morning tea. She looked up and smiled warmly when she saw him.
"Good morning, my dear," she replied with a gentle smile. "You're up early today."
Jimin chuckled softly. "I have university, but first, your medicines."
He walked towards the cupboard where her medicines were neatly placed, took out the required ones, and brought them to her with a glass of water.
"Here, Grandma," he said, handing them over.
She took them with a thankful nod. "Such a responsible boy," she praised. "I feel at ease knowing you're here."
Jimin smiled shyly. "It's nothing, Grandma. You just take care of yourself."
She chuckled. "I will, I will. Now, you should get going before you're late."
Jimin nodded. "Yes, I'll see you in the evening."
With that, he bid her goodbye and headed out for the university.
As Jimin was walking out of the mansion, adjusting the strap of his bag, he noticed a sleek black car pulling out of the parking lot. His steps slowed for a moment when he saw Yoongi in the driver’s seat, but he quickly looked away, deciding to ignore him.
He’s cold as ever, anyway. No point in expecting anything else.
Just as he reached the main gate, the sharp sound of a car horn startled him. He flinched slightly and turned around, only to see Yoongi’s car stop right beside him, the tinted window rolling down.
Yoongi, with his usual unreadable expression, looked at him.
"Get in," he said simply. His voice was flat, leaving no room for argument.
