The next morning, Sunday, Jimin woke up a little later than usual. After his
morning routine—brushing his teeth, washing up, and having a light breakfast—he decided to head over to the mansion. The peacefulness of the weekend made him feel more at ease, even though he was still adjusting to everything around him.
As he walked towards the mansion, the sun was shining brightly, and the air had a gentle coolness to it. It was a perfect morning, and he couldn’t help but smile as he approached the grand entrance of the mansion.
When he stepped inside, he was greeted by the familiar silence of the house, with only the sound of soft footsteps echoing in the halls. Grandma was sitting in the living room, reading a book, a cup of tea resting on the side table. So he went towards her and gave her medicine.
Jimin was sitting with Grandma, laughing at one of her funny stories, when Mrs. Min approached them with a gentle smile.
"Jimin, dear," she said softly, "can you do me a favor?"
Jimin immediately nodded. "Of course, ma’am. What is it?"
"Can you go and wake up Yoongi for breakfast? That boy always sleeps in on Sundays," she sighed. "His room is upstairs, the second door on the right."
Jimin blinked in surprise but quickly agreed. "Oh, sure! I'll go wake him up."
He stood up and made his way to the stairs, climbing up to the second floor. Reaching Yoongi’s room, he knocked lightly on the door.
No response.
He knocked again, a little louder this time, but still, no answer.
Frowning, he hesitated for a moment before grabbing the doorknob. To his surprise, it wasn’t locked. Slowly pushing the door open, he stepped inside.
Jimin’s eyes widened in awe.
The room was huge, with a sleek, modern design. The large bed was neatly made, the black and grey color scheme giving the room a cool and sophisticated vibe. There was a bookshelf filled with books and music albums, a high-end speaker system, and even a beautiful grand piano in the corner.
"Wow..." Jimin whispered, taking in the sight.
But then, he heard the sound of running water. His eyes darted towards the bathroom door.
"Oh... He must be in the shower," Jimin realized, scratching the back of his neck.
Not wanting to invade Yoongi’s privacy, he turned to look around instead. As he glanced at the bedside table, a small photo frame caught his attention.
Curious, he stepped closer and carefully picked it up.
It was a picture of Yoongi—much younger—smiling brightly with an older man and woman, most likely his parents. Jimin tilted his head slightly. Yoongi looked so different... so happy.
