We finally arrive at the starting point of the village. San parks his car behind some bushes so no one can notice it. We must be very discreet. We slowly get out of the car. Wooyoung holds Taewon, and Jihoon stands next to him while San and I push the car a little more in the bushes to make it unnoticeable if anyone passes by here.

"It's done!" San exclaims.

"Yeah. Now, our next step is going inside the village," I say while haffing because the car was very heavy, and also because I'm very tired.

The pale moonlight makes our path visible as we go forward. Hiding from people who are either walking around or sitting in their porches, we successfully get inside. San walks with Jihoon, Wooyoung has Taewon, and I'm very grateful for it. My arms are hurting, but more importantly, my heart is beating crazily because of the fear of getting caught. I feel like a thief inside a big mansion.

"Hyung," Wooyoung whispers.

"What?" I whisper back.

"We're finally inside the village, but what should we do next?"

"Just follow me."

As we were walking, my eyes fell on a particular house. Daeha's house. I stop as memories of that night rush through my head. Daeha and Mr. Kwan were very helpful that day. However, I left them in danger. Are they okay? Is Daeha okay? That little child helped me a lot, but in the end, I left him too.

"Hyung." I flinch when San taps my shoulder.

"Huh?"

"What happened?"

"Daeha's house," I answer, pointing with my head.

"We know," both of them answer simultaneously.

"Let's go there."

We cautiously move forward to Daeha's house. My heart beats loudly as I knock on the door.

"Coming," I hear a soft voice coming from inside, and I instantly reconnect it as Daeha's Papa's voice.

When the door opens, Daeha stands before us, and his Papa is behind him. I feel so much solace seeing them safe and sound. Daeha's eyes widen as he sees me, and then he grabs me in a hug.

"Hyung," he cries. I also return the hug because I really feel at ease seeing him.

"I'm so happy, you're fine, Daeha," I murmur.

"Me too, hyung."

"Daeha, bring them inside. Outside is not safe," says his Papa.

We come inside, and Daeha closes the door. I look around to see if Mr. Kwan is here or not. Daeha's Papa tells us to sit on the couch as he goes to bring something from the kitchen.

"Daeha, where's your dad?" I ask when he comes to sit next to us.

He goes silent and looks down. I can feel his sorrow from here, but I don't want to hear the answer now. I'll feel more guilty.

"That night, he was turned into stone too," he murmurs.

"What!" San exclaims in surprise.

"I was lucky enough to escape from there."

I take him in my arms, rubbing his head softly. I can't even imagine how a child would feel knowing his dad is gone like that. He wraps his hands around my waist as I give him a kiss on the head.

Daeha's Papa comes out of the kitchen with a tray with hot cups of tea on it. I smile a little. It's been a long time since I've had tea. Hwasang hyung hands me a cup first, then takes Taewon from Wooyoung so he can drink.

"How are you, Jungkook?" Hwasang asks with an unhappy voice.

"Good," I murmur after taking a sip.

"It's nice to know it."

"Hyung," I call him softly. "I don't where to start it. I..." my voice cracks. "Just apologizing isn't enough, but I—"

"Don't be sorry, Jungkook. I haven't lost my sensibility to not apprehend you're the innocent here. I didn't welcome you like I had welcomed you the first time because I lost my lover, but that doesn't mean that I'm mad at you," he explains. My eyes water up, but I wipe them quickly. I place my cup on the tray and stand up to embrace him. He wraps his free hand around my waist and kisses me on my temple.

"Everything's going to be okay," he reassures.

"I know, I know."

"But Jungkook, do you know what to do now?" San asks.

I let go of Hwasang hyung and turned around.

"There's a lake deep inside the forest where the fairies used to take bath, it's water is very clean. It even sparkles when the moon is right above it. Master Jooseob had said that if we drawn Eodun-hyun in that lake, we'll be able to end this." I answer.

I keep thinking about the place as Hwasang hyung gets up from his seat when San's stomach grumbled. Taewon has also finished drinking, so I button up my t-shirt and then tap gently on her back so she can burp. She's in deep sleep by now, but I feel very uneasy. I knew that defeating them wouldn't be simple, but I wasn't expecting it to be that hard. We basically need to go to their place where they're the most powerful ones. A sigh comes out of my mouth, and I lean backward.

"Let's go eat, hyung," Wooyoung nudges me. "Don't stress yourself. Everything is gonna turn out to be fine."

Yes, Jungkook. Think positively.
