"Next on our list is a four year old girl. She may look all innocent and stuff, but don't be a fool, she definitely isn't." The host said.
The host of the 24th auction was a man by the name of Austin Cook. He was what you would call a slaver. He would patrol the streets at night looking for anyone out past curfew. When he would find anyone out, he would ask them if they had their life card. This life card was an electronic card in which it showed all your personal information on it. If the person was without a life card, Austin would drug the person and take them to his place to teach them the ways of a slave. By all means necessary. Once in a blue moon, he would find a person who he could not break. These people were the ones he would put the highest price on.
"Carrie," Austin hissed. "Bring the little brat here."
"Yes Master." the little blond girl (who was 17 years of age) whispered with her head down. Carrie disappeared behind the curtains to fetch the girl. "Come on little one, it's time to go." Carrie gently shook the girl awake.
The girl had to be drugged in order to get her to the auction. she was the only person Austin could not break. It had been 17 years since the last unbroken person was caught and sold, and Austin had fetched a really good price on her.
The little girl slowly opened her eyes and frowned. "What happened? where am i?" she asked.
Unchaining the girl from the wall, Carrie answered, "You are at the slave auction. Master had you drugged in order to get here. You wouldn't come quietly and you managed to bite master so he had you sedated. we must go now." Carrie pulled on the girl's leash that was attached to a collar Austin had the female slaves wear.
"No!" the girl shouted. "You cannot make me." The girl kicked Carrie in the kneecap and took off running. "Mommy! Mommy help!"
"Alexa!" Carrie yelled chasing after the girl. "please stop running. master is expecting you on the stage right now!"
"No! I want my mommy!" Alexa yelled back, still running away. She almost made it to the exit when she was stopped by two body guards. They looked at her and smirked.
"I will bring you to your mother. OK?" Carrie said out of breath. this made the girl turn towards Carrie.
"Promise? No tricks this time." Alexa asked rubbing the scar on her arm. Once a person is captured and is to be a slave, they are branded with some kind of symbol to show they are slaves. with each slave owner, the symbol is different. Austin's symbol was the star of David, and he took great pleasure in carving the symbol in each and everyone of his captured slaves.
"I promise." Carrie held out her hand so Alexa could take it, but she did not. "You know I'm sorry for tricking you." Carrie said once she got a hold of Alexa's leash.
"Yeah sure. I knew I shouldn't of trusted you when you said 'trust me it wont hurt."
"Master said he was going to give you medicine to ease the pain. You're mother is over on your left when you get out there. Behave and you will see her. "Carrie said as she reached the curtain. "Now remember: Master said to be on your best behavior." She whispers before she pulls the girl onto the stage.

"Mummy," The 10 year old boy, pulling on his mother's sleeve, said. "Why is that girl up there?"
"She is being sold, sweetie. Poor thing, she has her whole life ahead of her but now she is a slave." The woman shook her head.
"Buy her." The boy whispers.
The woman looks at her child and smiles. "Oh honey, we can't just buy anyone. We came here to look for a nanny to take care of you and your sister when Mommy and daddy aren't here. And we found one. Besides, what would we do with that child?"
"I could be her friend. She would keep me out of trouble. Please Mummy?" The boy wanted the girl so bad. He knew he wouldn't get her without a fight. Time to bring out the face. The boy thought to himself. He made a pouty face and big eyes.
The woman sighed and shook her head. "No. I am not buying that girl. We do not need her. I'm was only after one thing." The woman points to the slave girl standing on the sideline of the stage. The girl they won was a woman by the name of Anna Jackson. "She is all we came after. Now shush."
Austin cleared his throat and smiled. "Here we are. Ladies and gentlemen! Meet Alexandrian Victoria Jackson. This four year old is a wild one. She is the only one I could not tame, but trust me, she can be tamed. She is totally a keeper for the men." Austin laughed and so did all the men in the audience. "Ok, the bidding will start at $1,000."
The audience started shouting numbers trying to best each others bid. The bid was now up to $10,000. The little boy yelled, "$35,000." The woman gasped as everyone looked at the boy.
Austin laughed. "Little boy, this is a grownup auction. Unless you have that kind of money, you need to be quiet." Austin looked at the mother and said. "Mrs. Mason, your boy needs to learn not to talk unless spoken to."
"I do have the money, sir." The boy looked at his mother. "I will use my allowance to pay for her. Please, let me buy her." He pleaded.
Mrs. Mason pondered on the idea for a second and then nodded. " Mr. Cook we'll take her."
Austin smiled real big. "Ok. $35000 for the girl. Going once, going twice, so-"
"35100!" A man from the crowd yelled." The crowd parted for the man as he made his way up to the stage.
Austin smiled and looked at Mrs. Mason with a raised eyebrow. She shook her head. The auctioneer slammed down the gravel and yelled sold. "Come up here to claim your price." When the man reached the stage Austin asked, "What is your name?"
"Marty. Marty Steward." The guy said, never taking his eyes off the little girl, licking his lips.
"No!" The boy yelled. The fell to his knees and had a tantrum. "I wanted her. I wanted her to be my friend. That's not fair! It's not! I never get what I want!"
Mrs. Mason, fed up with her son's behavior, pulled her son off the ground and spanked him. "This is uncalled for! Wait until your father hear about this young man!" She pulled him over to where the sold slaves were being held. "I ain't never. No allowance for an entire week! You hear me?! No money and no TV. " The boy sniffed and nodded.
"Excuse me Ma'am." A voice said.
Mrs. Mason spun around to face the voice. Raising an eyebrow, Mrs. Mason spoke. "Yes?"
"Hi I'm Martha the other owner of the girl my husband just bought. I just wanted to apologize to your son." The woman smiled.
"It's ok. " the boy said not even looking at the woman.
"You are so cute. I'll tell you what. I'll make you a deal. I'll tell you where we live so you can come and see the girl whenever you want, in exchange for your name. Deal?" Martha smiled and held out her hand.
The boy wiped his nose on his hand and looked up at the woman. "Deal." He shook her hand.
"You're a smart man. So, what is your name?"
The little boy smiled and pulled back his hand. "Beau."
