"Thanks Mrs. Wang!"
You ran out of the store your best friend's mum owns and tripped on the small rock but caught your balance before Jackson could laugh.

"Eun wait!" Jackson took your wrist trying to contain his laugh at your clumsiness.
Since you were a bit-a lot- shorter so he bent down to your eye level, you folded your arms waiting for him to continue.
He laughed again and flicked your head and walked off.

You flinched and held your head in pain and groaned.

"Stop doing that!"

You runs inside-laughing- and you groan and Picked up the hopefully not ruined sweets your mum told you to pick up.

Your mother and his are best friends and they've known each other for a while, it's how you and Jackson met. Weekly, mrs. Wang bakes some sweets and bread and gives some as a gift to you and your mum. Also, Jackson takes that as a chance to tease you. But no harm done.

You walk back to your house opening the door, overhearing your mums conversation on the phone,

"Oh stop it!"
(But it sounded more like "oh staph eet~" but we're not gonna talk about that))

"Mum?" You walked slowly raising an eyebrow at her, she turns around before apologizing to the Phone and shutting it off.

"Oh there you are! Did you get them?"
She asks motioning to the bag,

"Well, yeah. It's kinda why I'm holding a bag" you say sarcastically and put it on the counter, she looked away for some reason looking awkward but you ignored it.

"Hay mum me and Jackson are gonna hang out at the park tonight,"

She turns around questionably,

"Tonight? Isn't that dangerous? Who knows who might be out there at night."

"Mum I'll be fine, Jackson'll be there-"
"No you are not going out at night."

"But why?" You said crossing your arms like the spoiled little girl you are.

"Because it's dangerous." She says after probably 10 seconds.

"Fine."

You say and go up the stairs. When you reached the destination you pulled out your iPhone and dialed the phone of the bestie, Jackson. Like I said you guys are close, but to be honest you never thought of anything more. Just best friends. But what if you were more?
You push the thought away when a sound clicked into your ear.

"Hello?" A masculine voice sounds, your heart pounds when the thought of more came up but you answered back quickly,

"My mum said I can't come tonight." You said trying to sound like you didn't just think of him as a boyfriend which caused you to shiver. Where did all these thought come from all of the sudden?

"Awe- I was thinking we could play around a bit."

You laughed -nervously-

"Play around?"
"Yeah."

"Okay? That's sounds.. Off."
"I know.. but I don't know how else to put it! " he said laughing again

"Put what?" You laughed as well before stopping after heard footsteps behind the door, you opened it and found no one. You shrugged and went back to your conversation.

"Dude my dad has being going out with his friends three nights in a row! That man got plans."

"My mum only went out two in a row. Does that count?"
"No."

You giggled and went for a snack since you have homework to do and need a snack. Something seemed off.

"Yeah make that three nights. She's not here."

"Does that mean we can go to the park?"

"Yeah probably."

-at the park-

After much planning so your asses won't get whipped you're now at the park.

Jackson POV

'Come on jackson'
I reached my arm trying to hold her small shoulders but I take them back out of shyness. She looks at me when I pull them back and I pretend to adjust my white jacket.

'Goddamnit Jackson'
I sigh and she looks at me,
"You okay?"

I nod and smile back ,

"So what's this 'playing around' you were talking about?"

Damn it and my loud mouth.
'Think think'

"Uh... I.. I thought we were kidding back there"

'Nice one' my head whispered again and I sighed quietly so she won't notice.

She laughs it off but I'm pretty sure she's not convinced at all.

It went quiet again and I was about to try to put my arm around her again when I heard... More laughing? I looked at EunGi and It wasn't her.

I looked around spotted a couple, seeing my dad I assumed the girl would be my mum. I pulled EunGi away and she followed me,

"That was weird" she said,
"Yeah it was, so EunGi.."

She looked up raising an eyebrow,

"I..uh.. Never mind."
