Ashley's POV.

We ate lunch, drove home and done whatever duties and tasks we had to do.

I kept reading a book for some time before I could sleep, and when I was about to sleep I got a text.

"Can you come over? It's an emergency."

"Yeah right away." I sent back and hopped off my window and right through Nash's window.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked

"They called me, they'll visit me soon"

"Who? your parents?"

"Yeah"

"Want to talk about it?"

"Not really"

"Okay lets watch a movie or something yeah?"

"Yeahh"

*****

"OMG are they going to chop her?" I said screaming.

We were watching SAW 7, I wasn't a big fan of horror thriller movies but I agreed to anything Nash wanted only so his mood would lighten a bit.

"Chill" I heard Nash say through his chuckles.

It was nice to see him smile.

"Why are you smiling at me like a creep?" Nash asked snapping me out of my bubble.

"Huh? Nothing. Won't you tell me what happened caused you to send me this message?"

Nash paused the movie and turned to face me, he didn't bother to turn on the lights but I could sense him shifting.

"They decided that we should all get together to spend some family time together"

I listened intently not wanting to say a word and interrupt him.

"Maybe they're trying to be better parents"

"I don't want them to be, I've got used to them being like this"

"You only think so, but I know that deep down inside you, you miss them more than anything"

"I don't know, I just want them to be better parents to my Glory, my sister"

"And they're trying, so give them a chance yeah?"

"Guess you're right"

"I'm always right" I said smirking

"Remind me why I asked you to come over? Get out" Nash said teasing.

"Too late, I'm too lazy to leave, now close your eyes and shut your mouth I want to get some sleep."

"The couch isn't really comfortable."

"Thank you for caring, I'll sleep on your bed then" I said hopping on his bed and snuggling to his soft white blanket.

"Hey! Get out that's my bed" Nash said trying to push me.

"Have no muscles you little boy?" I teased.

"More like having a pig in my bed, at least move aside"

I groaned but moved a little so he'd have enough space to sleep beside me.

I ended up snuggling to Nash's bare chest while he had his hand around my waist.

I guess I made a new best friend, I thought before my mind shut completely off and went hibernating.
