From the last chapter:

“Get up!” I screamed then I started to crawl him through the road.

“Don’t help meeeh!” he shouted at me. “You’re gonna do a stupidity aagh!”

But then I didn’t listen to him. I took him in my arms and started running again. We both fell in the snow in front of the last door and we saw we’re finally safe. I opened the door, still carrying Madness in my arms, and…  “

And I went out from that horror building. We finally escaped from those levels. We were safe again. But I still had one single problem…maybe I escaped from there and I was still alive but my feelings continued to hurt ma brutally. All I was thinking about was that Madness came down there to save me and he did his best but unfortunately he almost died. And it was my entire fault. If I didn’t listen to Jase when he told me about the “final test” I would never be down there and Madness either. And I also remembered that moment when he said I hurt him when I helped him…But I couldn’t say anything. That night his words were burning my mind powerfully and my sleep transformed into a nightmare. I saw him dying in the martyrdom of the Hell and I stayed. I just stayed and looked at him without doing something. I made a promise…I would never help him again so as not to hurt him again. But I broke the promise when I saved him from the snow. Then he was going to scream at me…

And he did. I looked at him face: it was bluish and weak. His whole body was like that. I couldn’t see his veins. His blood started to freeze while he was falling in the snow. His eyes were brown again. He hadn’t got enough power to keep them red. I put him down slowly and I lit a fire next to him. He shook his head slowly then he looked at me.

“Why did aagh you…help meeh?” he screamed at me then he wanted to stand up but he fell again on the floor.

“I couldn’t let you die in there…” I replied to him then I raised him up and propped him against a wall. He pushed me away and almost fell on the ground again. He looked at me and his eyes were somehow reddish.

“You mustn’t help aagh me, remember?!” he shouted at me. “You broke the promise!”

I didn’t know why but I fell something like a big and strong anger which started to flow through my veins then I pushed him into the wall again and shouted:

“Forget that fucking promise! I helped you because I don’t want you to die!” I shouted at him then I slapped my mouth when I realized what I just said. I saw him staring at me while my words began to walk through his mind.

“What did…you just…say?” he asked me with a silent voice.

“I…I…----“ I started to stutter myself but he covered my voice with his.

‘Why that?” he asked me with a quiet voice.

“I…I don’t exactly know…” I replied without looking in his eyes. “It’s just the fact I don’t want you to die…”

“Oh…” he exclaimed surprised. “Then…thank you…” he said then he took me into the middle of the room.

“Where are we going?” I asked him and I continued to walk next to him.

Suddenly a big and metal cage fell on us and kept us inside of it. I had that feeling like I was a prisoner again. It was the same feeling I had when Madness kidnapped me the first time. I started to be more and more nervous and I began to walk from the bottom of the cage to the end of it. I saw Madness lying on the ground. He was so calm despite the fact that we were kept into a cage in Hell! I walked to him and I shouted:

“Why are you so calm?” I shouted. “We’re prisoners!”

“Calm down Jane…” he said with a calm voice then he stood up. “We need to be marked. This is how you escape from here.” He said then he looked at me.
