Street Dancers

"You going to Austin's party tonight?" Riana asked. "Street Dancers?" I asked. "Yup" She smiled. I smiled at her "Count me in!" I said popping my gum.

My name is Ressie(Pronounced: Re-zz-e). I am 16, I am in year 12, my birthday is 3 weeks away which really sucks.

I have dark red hair (She is the girl wearing the blue! :P) and I have chocolate brown eyes, some people have made rumours about me, like when I am angry my eyes go black and it is like I can see through their soul and stuff like that. Crazy and Pathetic right?

I mean don't people have anything else better to do in their lives except make rumours? "Omg, listen to this Chika" Riana said smirking. She calls me Chika (Pronounced: Che-Ka) for some weird and unordinary reason.

"What?" I asked popping my gum again. I kept speed walking with one earphone in while Riana was on her phone. "Here is a rumour about you" She smirked at me.

"Oh please, what is it?" I asked. "It is a comment based on your eyes turn black thing: I saw Ressie today and is she always angry? Her eyes were black today and I swear she can see through everyones souls and see there deepest darkest secrets, Has anyone else noticed that she spends alot of times with boys? She is totally a playboy, except in a girls version" Riana said as I rolled my eyes.

I groaned, man people can be so dumb! "So, you like these rumours? How come you don't care?" Riana asked. "Riana, I love rumours" I said and she looked at me like I was crazy. This time she popped her pink gum.

"I always learn things about me that I never knew before" I grinned as she smiled and bumped me on the hip really hard that I lost my balance and fell on my butt.

Riana laughed loudly and so did I. "What are you two laughing at?" A very familair voice asked. I haven't heard that voice in 1 and a half years! No kidding! I snapped my head to see my big brothers car parked next to us.

My eyes widened and so did Riana's then he got out. I didn't waste anytime to get up and hug him. He hugged me back but because he is slightly, well HEAPS buffer and bigger then me it was more like he was crushing my bones.

I grunted "Um.....Bro?" I managed to choke out. "Yes Ressie?" He asked. "Can't....Breathe" I weezed. "Oh sorry" He mumbled letting me go. Riana giggled and my big brother, Masen, looked at her with a cheeky grin.

Riana and Masen are like brother and sister too, they don't see each other in a romantic way nor a friend way, in a brother and sister way. He scooped her up into a hug but didn't crush her like I did.

"Hey! How come you crushed the hell out of me but didn't crush the hell out of her?!" I asked while pouting grumpily and crossing my arms over my chest. He looked at me and chuckled then came over to me "That just means I love you more" He grinned while ruffling my hair.

I glared at him but then ran over to his car and called "SHOTGUN!" Then got into the passenger seat. Riana walked angrily to the back seat door "You always get shotgun!" She grumbled. "You are never quick enough my dear" I said popping my gum.

I blew a really big buddle, like a massive bubble but then suddenly the gooey stuff all clung to my face. I shot a scowl in Masen's direction asI saw him with a pin in his hand and he was in fits of laughter.

"Payback is a Beach" Riana laughed. We weren't really on swearing so we used other words. "Whatever" I snapped putting my feet on the dashboard and leaning back into my seat.

Masen raised an eye-brow at me and pointed at my feet. I looked at him and we did a stare down but he practiced his intimidating looks, so he won. "Fine" I groaned in annoyance and took them off.

He smirked in satisfaction that he won the contest/battle. I glared at him then he started the car and The song 'I knew you were trouble' by taylor swift came on.

Riana and I grinned and sat up straight while Masen just smiled and started driving.

We skipped a bit of the lyrics then sung "THE JOKE IS ON ME!

We all sung at the top of our lungs not caring if we sung the wrong lyrics.

We laughed as the car suddenly pulled to a stop. "Oh we are home" I said sourly.

My parents disliked me, cause' I am a street dancer and stuff....They want me to be like my brother and get a job and blah blah blah blah. I don't hate my brother because it ain't his fault that he is a good kid!

My parents just have this bad habbit of comparing me to him.

My brother sighed "Look Bubs" He started. I glared at him "Maddison?" He corrected. My glare became more scarier and angrier "What then?!" He asked giving up.

"Bubs is a little kids name, and Maddison is my real name that only you, the people who are supposedly my 'Parents' and Riana knows" I said pointing to Riana in the backseat.

"So?" He asked. "Um I am uh just gonna uh leave" Riana stuttered before getting out of the car. "SO?! NOBODY CALLS ME THEM NAMES! NOBODY!" I shrieked at him. At first I was confused why she left but now I know.

I hate when people call me bubs or Maddison. Yes, Maddison. It is my real name. But I changed it because my so called 'Parents' named me that.

I liked Ressie more then Maddison. Ressie is a unique name, thats why it suits me because I am a unique person.

I might seem like a badass but really, I am a caring person. I get into trouble alot but at school, I help those who get bullied. I just think it is soo sad that people tease others with stutters or if they have extra weight etc.

"Calm down" He said. "DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN YOU ASS!" I screamed. His eyes widened "Oh ah look theres a bird" He said pointing behind me.

"I am not falling for that!" I snarled getting out of the car. I slammed the door so hard that the car shook. Riana went to say something but closed her mouth straight away knowing not to make me even more pissed off.

"Chika, I am uh going shopping tonight. You up for it?" Riana asked. I colled down a bit and shrugged. "There will be dancing" She added.

I grinned "Count me in" She smiled and texted someone. "See ya tonight babes" I said. I call her babes sometimes, not cause' I am lesbian okay!

"Okay, can you pick me up? I need to sneak out so meet me at the park a block away" Riana said. "Sure babes see you tonight at 7" I said running inside.

I opened the door and there stood the two evil step parents. Yes, step parents. I was given away when I was 12 because my parents disliked me. My brother left them and ta-da. We got adopted by these two zombies.

"Where have you been?!" Monster 1 screamed. "I have already been through this Mikayla! Ughh, I went for a morning run!" I said putting my hand on my hips.

"I wish you were more like your br-" Monster 2 went to say (My 'Dad').

I growled "Do. Not. Complete. That. Sentence." I said through clenched teeth. He smirked. "Brother" He finished off.

I inhaled through my nose and glared at him. I lunged at him and got him onto the ground. I slapped him 2 before I was pryed off him.

"What the f**k?! Calm down Ressie!" Masens voice said in my ear. I choked up and nodded not trusting my voice anymore.
