She pulled the trigger. But in that time, Taeyeon had other plans.

She quickly slapped Hyuna's arm trying to knock the gun out of her hands. But Hyuna's tight grip on the gun did other things.

The bullet didn't hit Baekhyun. It didn't hit SNSD or EXO. It didn't hit MiYoung or the men.

The men let go of the people they were holding onto tightly out of surprise.

Sehun let out a loud cry.

Taeyeon stood frozen.

Hyuna gasped, feeling surprising slightly guilty.

Kris' heart stopped.

SNSD covered their mouths.

EXO's eyes were wide.

Baekhyun let a tear drop out of his eye.

Eunji looked down at her stomach and watched the red liquid spread on her shirt. The men let her go and she grabbed her stomach and fell on her knees.

"Eunji-ah!" Sehun cried and ran to her.

Her head fell into his arms and he cried as she barely managed to stay alive. The men, afraid of what to do next, fled the house and drove off to wherever they wee going.

Hyuna dropped the gun, when she remember that Eunji was pregnant.

Taeyeon fell to her knees and covered her face as she let out a sob.

Baekhyun ran to Sehun and Eunji. He tore a part of his shirt off and helped Sehun wrap it around her bleeding stomach.

"Sehun-ah." Eunji said weakly as she tried to bare the pain.

"I love you." She smiled and Sehun cried even more.

"Call an ambulance!" He screamed and Yoona reached into her pocket and fumbled with her phone as she dialled the number.

"Eunji, keep your eyes open!" Baekhyun yelled.

Taeyeon stayed in her spot, letting her hair cover her face as she continued to sob silently.

Hyuna took one last glance at Eunji, before she ran out of the house.

"Sehun-ah, take care of yourself." Eunji said with a strained voice and Sehun shook his head.

"Stop it! You're not gonna die! Stop acting like you are." He cried and Eunji took Sehun's hand placed it on her stomach.

"Sehun-ah, I'm not gonna survive." She smiled sadly and SNSD and EXO crowded around them.

"Eunji-ah!" Kris cried as he took his sister from Sehun's arms. MiYoung knelt next to Kris and swept the hair out of Eunji's face.

"The ambulance is here!" Yuri yelled and they all made space as Kris carried Eunji out of the house.

Sehun followed and watched as they tied a new cloth around her stomach.

"Three people can come in the ambulance with her." The paramedic said and Kris, Sehun and MiYoung were the first ones to jump into the ambulance.

Baekhyun watched as the ambulance took off. The others took their cars and drove after it.

Baekhyun walked back into the house and saw Taeyeon silently sobbing.

He knelt down next to her and gave her a tight hug.

"I'm sorry!" She cried and Baekhyun stroked her hair.

"I wanted to save you! But I ended up endangering the life of two people!" She continued sobbing and Baekhyun placed a kiss on her forehead.

"Thank you for saving me." He said.

"Lets just pray that Eunji will survive, and that hopefully, their baby will too." He said and they sat there on the floor until Taeyeon's cries were gone.

Eunji's POV

My eyes fluttered open and the first thing I saw was the light on the ceiling.

Where was I? Something felt weird in my body.

"Eunji?" A voice called and I turned to see Sehun.

His eyes were puffy, and dark circles surrounded his eyes.

He lost weight, his hair was messy, but he still looked handsome.

I smiled before all the memories fled back into my mind.

My hand which had a tube attached to it, reached up to my stomach. My breath hitched, even though I had an oxygen mask on.

I looked at Sehun with worried eyes but he gave me a reassuring smile.

"Our baby's ok. You're okay." He said before I saw Kris and Lay walk in.

"I'll go call the doctor!" Lay said and Kris nodded quickly before running to me.

"Eunji-ah! You're okay." He cried and gave me a lose hug, probably afraid I'd get hurt.

The doctor walked in with a smile on his face.

"Wu Eunji-"

"It's Oh Eunji" Sehun interrupted and the doctor sighed before continuing.

"Oh Eunji, you're in healthy state now. All you need is some rest. The operation was successful and you may go home in a week." He smiled and I smiled back before motioning to the oxygen mask that took up half my face and was slightly suffocating.

He chuckled and removed it, and I smiled and choked out a somewhat thank you to the doctor, who smiled before leaving the room.

Sehun ran to me with tears in his eyes and kissed me tenderly.

H spilled away and a tear dropped from his eyes.

"Why are you crying? We're okay now, aren't we?" I asked and he nodded before he suggested that I eat something. He said he'd be right back, before he left the room to go buy something to eat.

That's when I heard his voice again.

I stayed quiet and tried to listen.

"Sehun, when do you plan on telling her?"

Telling me?

"I don't know. I really don't know if I can." Sehun replied and I heard his voice crack.

"She needs to find out sooner or later about the miscarriage, Sehun."

My heart stopped.

Tears welled in my eyes and I couldn't listen anymore.

Now I know why my body felt weird.

The weight that used to be in my stomach was no longer there.

My baby was gone.

Our baby was gone.

We failed to keep our child safe.

I let out a sob, thankful that no one else was in the room.

I couldn't take it.

That's when I saw a door out side of my hospital room that had the words "EMERGENCY EXIT" imprinted on the top.
