Chapter 1- The
"Lily! Lily Derbies! Wake up now!" My human alarm clock (ie:mum) yelled at me. I groaned loudly and pulled a pillow over my head. It was the day I had been dreading for 2 months. The first day of year 10.
Sighing loudly, I rolled out of bed and stretched lazily. With my remaining strength, I pulled myself onto the bed and yelled at mum:" Getting ready!' I quickly texted Joe ( my muscular boyfriend) Lizzie ( my tomboy bestie) and Lola ( my flirty bestie) to tell them to prod me when I fall asleep in class.
I yanked the wardrobe open and ripped my boring school uniform out: a bright green shirt with a navy blazer and a navy skirt. Quickly changing into it, I noticed in the mirror that the skirt was getting way to short. But there wasn't much I could do about it so I just prayed the teachers at Guiyden Junior (the school I go to) wouldn't notice.
Dragging the brush through my always growing golden curly hair, Mum called me down for breakfast. I ate speedily then ran to my room to put my nail varnish on. Running downstairs, I organised my bag with 5 minutes left. Swinging my bag over my shoulder, I said bye to mum and left just in time.
