*This chapter is over double the length of a regular chapter to make up for the fact I still have no idea when my WiFi will be back. A normal chapter is about 1500 words, this one is 4000.

Also, the song for this chapter is Attack on Titan opening three, aka Shinzou Wo Sasageyo. I just feel like it suits.*

As soon as Kai set up the connection, he inwardly knew that he should have attempted this a long time ago.

It was like something inside him clicked, a few broken pieces finally coming together to give him a new spark.

That spark coming in the form of a notification.

Two skills are able to be fused together. Fuse skills?

It didn't say what two skills were able to be fused, but Kai inwardly knew that one of them was Telepathy.

He didn't have much time to think about it though, considering there was less than three seconds before the Yeti finished charging its attack.

Gritting his teeth, Kai selected the yes option.

His tired and battered body was instantly invigorated with a little bit of strength and energy, making him let out a soft sigh of relief.

As quickly as he could, he glanced over the new skill he had created.

One Mind (Epic)

Allows the user to form a party with up to 12 people their Soul has influenced. When inside this party, the user is able to distribute the XP gained by anyone inside this party however they want. The creator of this party is able to obtain 25% of the max amount of XP no matter what. When inside this party, all members benefit from a 4% increase to their Mana, Constitution and Stamina. The user still retains their ability to set up telepathic connections. Whenever the user sets up a telepathic connection with someone their soul has influences, the user's and the recipitant's damage and defence is boosted by 3% and the damage of coordinated attacks is boosted by 10%. The maximum length of the telepathic connection with someone in your party is increased by 20%. There must be a minimum of three party members for these boosts to take effect.

Kai gritted his teeth, already getting ready to dodge the incoming attack. It look a lot longer to glance over thay description than the single second he was hoping, but he got the gist of it.

Telepathy had fused with Party-Up. The skill hadn't increased in rarity, but it was practically a Legendary skill. 5% more XP to him, another 1% increase to those three stats, 3% damage and defence boost, 10% coordinated attack boost and a 20% distance increase.

What a beautiful skill.

It was a shame that Kai might not survive long enough to properly use it.

Well, he could at least try to make use of it.

"Can everyone hear me?"

Kai heard a soft yelp in the back of his mind, Cecilia having gotten shocked by the sudden intrusion in her head.

"Yes."

At least Petunia's answer was calmer.

"Yep."

"Affirmative."

Kai frowned. He understood Umbra's laxidasical answer, but when did Esurient start talking like they really were an air force pilot?

Petunia's mother was the only one Kai was unable to set up the link with. Their mind was fully blocked off, protected by a skill or they possessed some sort of immunity to mind attacks.
