I'm seeing the pain, seeing the pleasure
Nobody but you, 'body but me
'Body but us, bodies together
I love to hold you close, tonight and always
I love to wake up next to you
The city lights flickered through the sheer curtains, painting patterns of gold and silver across the tangled sheets. Heavy breathing filled the room, a mix of exhaustion and exhilaration, bodies pressed together in the aftermath of yet another night spent testing the limits of love and war.
Leehan lay beneath Taesan, his fingers trembling as he traced invisible patterns over the other's bare chest. His heart was still pounding from the heated argument that had erupted between them earlier, only to be drowned in desperate kisses and rough hands that sought to claim and console. It was always like this between them-fire and ice, love and destruction, passion and pain.
"I'm seeing the pain, seeing the pleasure," Leehan murmured against Taesan's skin, his lips ghosting over his collarbone.
A soft chuckle rumbled from Taesan's chest as he tightened his grip on Leehan's waist, pulling him even closer. "Nobody but you, 'body but me, 'body but us. Bodies together."
Leehan tilted his head, a smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "You make it sound poetic."
"It is," Taesan said, his voice dropping to a commanding whisper. In one swift motion, he rolled them over, pinning Leehan beneath him, wrists trapped in his strong grasp. "I love to hold you close, tonight and always."
Leehan swallowed, his breath hitching as Taesan leaned in, pressing a slow, lingering kiss to his lips, his dominance unmistakable in the way he controlled the moment. "I love to wake up next to you," Taesan murmured, his voice dripping with possession.
The moment stretched between them, charged with unspoken confessions and the weight of something deeper, something raw. But then, as always, the fragile peace cracked. Taesan smirked, his fingers pressing into Leehan's wrists with just enough pressure to make his dominance clear.
"So we'll piss off the neighbors," he whispered, the challenge in his voice sending a shiver down Leehan's spine.
The bed creaked beneath them as their world blurred into a reckless haze, a place where pleasure and pain coexisted in perfect chaos. A war zone and a paradise, just like them.
Hours later, tangled limbs and soft laughter replaced the earlier frenzy. Leehan traced the edge of Taesan's jaw, his voice barely above a whisper. "My enemy, my ally."
Taesan hummed, his grip still firm around Leehan's waist, anchoring him in place. "Prisoners... then we're free. It's a thin line."
Leehan's eyes softened, the walls around his heart cracking just a little more. "And yet, here we are."
A soft kiss was pressed to his forehead, but Taesan's hold on him remained strong, a silent reminder of who was in control. "Here we are."
The next morning, sunlight trickled in through the curtains, painting their tangled bodies in hues of gold. Leehan groaned as he turned onto his side, his eyes fluttering open to find Taesan already awake, staring at him with an unreadable expression.
"You're watching me sleep again," Leehan muttered, voice still thick with sleep.
Taesan grinned, running a lazy hand through Leehan's messy hair before gripping the back of his neck and pulling him closer. "Can you blame me?"
Leehan sighed dramatically, stretching his arms above his head before settling back into the mattress. "You're insufferable."
Taesan tightened his hold just enough to make Leehan still. "And yet, you love me for it."
Leehan hummed, turning his face slightly so their lips met properly. The kiss was slow, languid, carrying the weight of everything they didn't say. When they pulled apart, Leehan rested his forehead against Taesan's, his breath uneven.
"You have to go to work," Taesan murmured, brushing a thumb over Leehan's cheek, but making no move to let him go.
Leehan groaned. "Don't remind me. I'd rather stay here all day."
Taesan smirked, his grip shifting as he ran his hand possessively down Leehan's back. "On the bed all day?"
Leehan rolled his eyes but couldn't hide the small smile forming on his lips. "You're impossible."
Taesan only laughed, pulling Leehan against him as they lay in comfortable silence. The air between them felt different this morning-less turbulent, more settled. But they both knew it wouldn't last. Their relationship had always been a delicate balance of highs and lows, of whispered confessions and shouted arguments.
Eventually, Leehan sighed and pushed himself up. "I really should get ready."
Taesan propped himself up on his elbows, watching as Leehan stretched before padding to the bathroom. "You know, we could just call in sick."
Leehan scoffed. "And what? Spend the whole day in bed?"
Taesan grinned, pulling Leehan back by the wrist and flipping him onto the mattress in one fluid motion. His dominance was effortless, intoxicating. "Exactly."
Leehan's breath caught in his throat, but he quickly schooled his expression. "You really think you can keep me here?"
Taesan leaned in, his lips barely brushing against Leehan's as he whispered, "Try me."
Leehan swallowed hard, his resolve wavering under Taesan's unwavering gaze. Even so, responsibilities called, and as much as he wanted to stay wrapped in the safety of their bed, reality was waiting just beyond the door.
As Leehan showered, Taesan lay back against the pillows, staring at the ceiling. Their love was a battlefield, a constant push and pull, but in moments like this-quiet, intimate, real-it felt like paradise.
And for now, that was enough.
