Chapter 3 ~ The One

Matthew looked at himself in the mirror. No, he thought to himself. I can't love her until I get to know her. Besides, you don't want another Maeve seen do you? Matthew splashed some water on his face. Give it a try. It might turn out okay. After what seemed like forever, Matthew finally decided to give it a try.

Just as he opened the door out, his friends AJ Cook and Paget Brewster were at the door. "Not so fast there Matthew. We saw what you did our there. Care to explain?" said AJ.

"It was just a thing called 'acting.' It was nothing," said Matthew, trying to push through both of them.

"Right, right. 'Acting.' You see... that was more than acting. I think you got a crush on Amanda," said Paget, nudging his shoulder.

Matthew continued back on set, but he couldn't focus on anything but Amanda. Her eyes he remembered. Blue. And her dark brown hair. But he could care less about that. It was her. She was perfect and he knew it the second those lips touched. Now, how would he ask her on a date...
